I tried this. My phone is connected to my GoPro via Bluetooth. But when I click 'download new footage' I receive a message saying 'we had trouble connecting to your GoPro's WiFi' I've tried troubleshooting but can't seem to figure out what the problem is. I didn't think my GoPro needs WiFi if I'm already connected via Bluetooth? If you know of any possible solution, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks! :)

Unfortunately, this version seems to be worse than the previous one It does not support video shooting via the phone as in GoPro 10 You can only transfer the content and you cannot display the video on the phone screen
Yes, you can transfer the files. But, I have no idea why GoPro decided to stop showing the video preview when controlling the camera with your phone. 🤷🏻♂️🤦🏻

Just got this as an upgrade (from Hero Black 5). Used the same memory card and I still haven't figured out why the media captured from gopro Hero Black 11 is NOT showing on my go pro quik app on my Android Samsung Ultra 22 phone. 🤔 Is it coz resolution is not supported? They are not compatible maybe?
Check for the video that’s stored on the SD card, not the phone media. They’re different. It’s confusing sometimes, but you won’t see the file on phone app until you’ve transferred it from the SD card to the phones app. It’s so convoluted. 🤦🏻 If I can see videos on my iPhone X, you should see it on Samsung S22. My phone is old in tech standards. 😂😂😂
@MrHeng562 I did just use my SD card from old gopro hero 5 ... you think it's too ancient to put on the 11? 😆 It just does not even show any new recorded media on preview even if when I used phone controls/ reset connections so many times. Ugh! technology sucks sometimes. 😅

Your comment was held for review for the “s” word. Anyhow, it’s GoPro that’s doing this. If you pull the memory card and put it into a card reader, you’ll see the files. For some reason, GoPro is not allow us to see the footage when the GoPro itself is connect directly to the PC. You don’t have that problem with DJI Action 1, 2, and 3. I hope that made sense. GoPro is the one now allowing us to direct connect and see the footage/photos.

@@roninr8199 , yes to the GoPro question. Regarding DJI, I was waiting too. Just recently picked up one at Best Buy and I didn’t see a focus problem. But, someone mentioned there is a focus problem with my copy. So, I will run a test against my GoPro 9. The GP11 that I bought was buggy, so I returned it. I’m thinking of giving it another shot, but we’ll see. I love the new night features in the GP11.

But all of a sudden I have seen popups on youtube regarding firmware update with dji action 3 and how great it looks with 10 bit.. Being a hardware issue it cannot be fixed with update so I guess I will have to wait few months back might be Jan or Feb batch.. Someone pointed out that if your cam is manufacturerd in October then there won't be a focus issue not sure about that.. Might be you can check your box.. I wanted cam for my Motorcycle and many recommended to get dji.. Also better battery, easy transfer of files etc.. Big flaw in my country is I can not return once I buy so I better wait for a while..

Uninstall and try from the beginning. That usually fixes the problem.
