Most festivals don't have the setup time for vocal enhancements that Jericho uses on stage. Most festivals give you 15 min set up time, and thats normally without a sound check. This is 100 percent natural jericho, unlike most venue shows where they have their own audio engineer at the shows. 😀

The art of good live sound techs is hard to find anymore. Many how don't mix rock or metal music much anymore. The sound in this mix is very dry, with no verb on the drums, vocals surely no delay/verb of any kind. Sounds like the feed for this video is all from the monitor mix. If you don't listen to rock or metal you surely won't be able to know where to start a mix from. Like most things today, the standards have been lowered.

There have been better " Wrestlers" but to do what this man has done for damn near 30 yrs and can still put on a A+ match and get a crowd pumped up and never change his character for the most part is something that nobody will ever touch.. He is the Tom Brady of WCW WWE New Japan and AEW..

Imagine trying to hit all those high notes after years of abusing steroids. All that extra testosterone doesn't really do wonders for keeping the vocal cords flexible.
Jericho was so wild and into it that's why his voice was off, probably distracted him from singing the song properly. But in fairness his voice was able to catch up on the last part.
