I am from China and currently live in China. I happened to hear this song on the radio and immediately searched and downloaded it. It's such a beautiful song, the rhythm is brilliant and soothing, and the lyrics is so genuine, faithful, and good-hearted. I search and read about the artist - Matt Wertz. He was not a music major, just liked music, in my view. He has other excellent records, and probably does not have a very fantastic record making team and he's 42 now, no matter how popular he will be, I will support him and like his songs! It's part of the radio systems playlist (globecom?) used by most grocery stores Nationwide. It's okay. It's his only good song really. This dude is bad without a decent producer.

Wow this song is actually about one of the darkest years of my life. I finally get the girl I wanted for years and I thought I won life but it fell apart and I was devastated and raw. But I survived and am a better person for all the pain I endured. And now I am madly deeply in love with the woman that helped me through it. I'll hold onto her because she held onto me.
