JW Marriott Khao Lak - Hotel Review - 2 Bedroom Suite

- Khao Lak is roughly 1,5 hours north of Phuket and has some lovely resorts such as the JW Marriorr Khao Lak.
We spent 5 nights here after staying at the Le Méridien Khao Lak (review coming soon, subscribe) and really enjoyed the facilities and staff! The 2 Bedroom Suite we booked with free night certificates was an incredible value!
I can definitely recommend this hotel!

Not that I know of. I only saw staff riding in one from time to time.
IS IT ANY GOOD FOR SOLO TRAVELERS?
Is this resort worth visiting with kids? Which beach is quieter? Karon or Khaolak?
There were many kids at the resort when we were there. It has quite a lot to offer regarding entertainment. Also the beach is very kid friendly. The water is warm and the waves aren't too big. Just high enough to do a little body boarding. I don't know which beach in Karon you mean, sorry.
@@PointsTravelTechAustria Thank you for your reply. We are planning to visit Phuket during November. We prefer quite place with good beach. If you could suggest which beach would be better or which resort that would be great. I have shortlisted Le Meridian Khao Lak, Pullman Khao Lak, JW Marriot Khao Lak, Karon Le Meridian and Katathani kata beach, Cape Panwa in Panwa beach. If you can suggest which one would be best to go with kids that would be great. We prefer a good beach with kids club.
We only stayed at the Le Meridien and the JW Marriott. And we don‘t have kids so we don‘t test out the kids clubs, etc. The Le Meridien was quieter and had a similar beach to the JW Marriott. They have a kids club from what I can remember, but we didn‘t stay there very long so I didn‘t see how much they really offered. The JW Marriott has the beach separated in Adults only, and kids. There is a kids pool area that looked really fun with slides etc. There is a kids club and some indoor table tennis and stuff like that. They also had an outdoor movie night at the beach, etc. I‘m sure both are fun for kids. But like I said, I don‘t have any so I can‘t give you a very precise answer.
This or le meridian Khao lak?
It‘s a tough one, since I liked both hotels.
The Le Meridien is definitely the quieter one of the two.
If you have kids, the JW has more to offer for them.
