From the pill to IUDs and fertility awareness methods, there are so many options today for preventing unintended pregnancy. How does a woman choose the one that’s going to work best for her? It starts by discussing your priorities and goals with a healthcare provider, says Obstetrician Gynecologist Ashley Brant, DO. To lay the foundation for that discussion, Dr. Brant answers commonly asked questions about birth control, side effects, safety, effectiveness and more.

Our daughter had an Ovary & tube removed in her teens...which Birth control option would be best for her, she wants to take a pill but I am concerned, don't want her to take anything that could hurt the only ovary she has left (I read birth control pills make your ovaries shrink also?)...Any recommendations which would be the best birth control .. and /or best birth control pill for a young woman in her particular rare situation. Thank you.

So tubes can actually be tied right after having your baby??? I am so angry!!! I had my baby 5 months ago and my dr. Told me they dont do that anymore and it has been long since that is like that. Now while i look for financial help to cover this procedure and without another contraceptive my husband and i have had a few scares. P.s. i have always been on the pill but now i dont want it because it turns me into the devil. What can i do??

Just follow the corporate money: Read and view "Contraceptives or guns, which one is more dangerous to society" the other side of the story
