Stan Bush - On my own alone (Bloodsport) HD

- 1988 Bloodsport was released , but the soundtrack to the movie was very limited, only a few tracks were included and the 2 audio songs were not performed by the original artists ("On my own alone" and "Fight to survive" was performed by Paul Delph instead of Stan Bush). But since 2007 the full score & soundtrack is available. This is one awesome excellent and extremely powerfull original soundtrack which includes the original songs like "On my own alone" by Stan Bush
On my own-alone
It hurts to find you failed the test,
knowing that you gave your best
As your friend I'll never
let you down
I know you didn't mean to leave me...
On my own
alone tonight
I'm gonna gather my strength,
gonna find the power
Then you know I'm gonna make it right
on my own tonight
I'll find that inner light
I can be strong
alone
on my own
I can be strong
alone
on my own
I can be strong
yeaaahhh!
on my own
on my own
I can be strong

No 80s action movie is complete without a good Soul searching montage, along with a training montage of course.
Agree, tune is top notch too...

This fim, such for me a best movie I ever seen
I Love this Movie. It's SOO REALLY GOOD How at the end of the Movie He did not Kill him the Preson. He just makes him to say It the word to win. It is SOO REALLY REALLY GOOD How He Fights with from his Heart❤️. He doesn't just Fight. He remembered Everything He learned. He Fights with the Horner.
@@freemanon2739 in despite they were not able to kill nobody, Chong-Li did it, but Frank Dux was a real fighter, for that reason he made Chong-Li say "mate"

This scene is so powerful, for the first time in the movie we saw Frank Dux shook. He almost watch his friend die at the hands of a man he has to face the next day that has never been beaten and shows no mercy to anyone he faces. Seeing his reflection thru the mirror only to look and see that Chong Li wasn’t really there shows how much Chong Li was in his mind. Then to see Frank overlooking the city and having memories of who he had counting on him to win the Kumite while also having to avenge his friends loss against a man he was unsure that he could beat. Then the ending of this scene to show how much Frank had to get his mind body and soul right to refocus and be prepared for the fight of his life all while having the absolute perfect song to have playing in the background is amazing show much told in a scene with no dialogue it’s deep
I love the movie, but I do think you're overanalysing this a bit.
@@Anonymous-jf2gy not at all it’s there in plain sight
Great breakdown. I loved this movie as a kid and as an adult now looking at this scene and the song to it, it’s spot on what you’re saying. 😎🙌🏾
@@Anonymous-jf2gy nah, he’s 💯
Indeed. Completely agree!
The very 1st Van Damme movie I ever watched & still my best & favorite Van Damme movie ever!!!
Today we don't have movies like this to remember year after year.. something nostalgic, I'm feel very sad about that.
when i see this movie i think USA is country of chances, can i succed a bit in USa with broken english lool and normal face and some intelligence ? hahah
With a good theme song and thoughts in one self maybe rocky creed and maybe last dragon, its a bit hard to think of more.
Great comment Kari
I agree..well said..!
You absolutly right.
Sorry for my english
This song has cemented its place in my 80s playlist.
you will never see another movie like'''' BLOODSPORT''''
one hell of a good movie
Only in the 80s could you have a song with lyrics like “on my own alone tonight” sung about another man and it NOT be gay.
I'm laughing and crying to your comment
This song repaired my marriage of 20 years to the love of my life.. Thank you for doing what you Do.
a piece of my childhood ill remember forever

What a show. I watched this every day when I was 4 in 1991. My dad had it in a red cassette VHS. Unbelievable
I'm 38 years old, and I w hated 4 too, but you have I think 27.
I wonder if many kids were exposed to some WAY TOO BRUTAL MOVIE for kids back then...
I so much miss 1991.
Your dad has great taste 👌
I joined kick boxing and was trained by former Belfast world champion billy murray at his gym called pro kick. It’s in east Belfast Northern Ireland about 5 minutes from me now. You can look all this up. All because I was big into Jean Claude in bloodsport and kickboxer.
The training montages where unbelievable. The music and training scenes where fantastic. As kid how could you not want to do that. My gran has a picture of me doing a high kick in my pjs when I’m like 5.
This music is so greeeat!!! I'm just crying... My childhood without problems and with beautiful dreams...(((
Me too... same exact feeling

I am so lucky to have lived and trained martial arts in the US during this time. No iPhones, internet or games to distract you, just training and inspiration.

Beautiful
This movie is the definition of the 80's.
what about back to the future :v
It hurts to find you failed the test, knowing that you gave your best!
Sometimes it's about going the distance...Rocky didn't win his first movie.
That's some deep shit.
@@darekbaird Sometimes its not always about the destination, but the journey.
absolute classic, childhood memories watching this, they will never make films like the 80's 90's action again
I went Hong Kong specifically to see this peak because of this movie.
Childhood dream ✅
How was it? looks stunning!
Dam that’s dope the view had to be crazy
@@seven7399 It was awesome and it was one of those empty feelings when i was headed back to my hotel like I have just completed a great mission lol
Love Stan Bush and Bloodsport. Wish I was back in the 80’s/90’s again
80’s action movies will always be the best!!!
I practically watched nearly every old school Martial Arts movie when I was a kid. Blood Sport and No Retreat, No Surrender were at the very top of my list. I virtually watched them everyday, seriously.
I can remember always feeling the feels when this song came on. I was instantly in love with this song back then. Still a personal classic. I know this is always said but music was truly better before 2000 whether it's the 70s, 80s or 90s.
Your comments were strong as hell my mom's boyfriend took us to see this when it came out
N she had no retreat no surrender on video for me.good times back in the 80s being a kid lol
Brantastik 90s was whack
nrns was awesome lad 1 and 2 but 1 was way better
My Dad's homeless Vietnam vet friend who lived in our garage made me watch this movie when I was 8 years old. Best decision ever and probably my favourite movie of all time.
Super awesome man, thanks a million. Bloodsport, a classic, they don't make movies like that no more.
your welcome! :)
+Sharpblade Unfortunately, they don't make anymore songs like this either...
Oleg Rodionov very very true, and unfortunate I know
Let's go back to the 80's in a time machine. Where men fought with fists and became friends after, and women wore real panties:)
borinakoune yess lol
My favorite Van Damme movie, OK USA! lol
OOO-KAE YOUESAY
Best movie of all time. This song is amazing. Childhood memories. Can watch this over and over never get old. love this x
My dad loves this movie and am 14 and grew up watching this with him and I loveee it🤩!!
How old is your dad
what a movie what a actor,80 rules
my favorite movie ever!!! I watch it all the time never gets old to me..I was born in '91 but I love 80s films they just don't make emmm like this anymore hurts my heart to its core
I consider my self lucky to have watched the 80's movies with awsome soundtracks. If I could travel back in time, this is the decade I would choose.
This was an above average martial arts movie, even at the time. Every actor did a great job in their roles, great fight sequences, too. This movie's soundtrack is pure 80's, too.
This is soooo epic, this music brings me into another state of mind. So soothing and emotional.
Dang the scene when he stretches overlooking Hong Kong city. That scenery and landscape is just beautiful.
32 years old of this film! for now, i've 33 years old, but still looking that movie from year to year, for two or more times :)
Great job, Bloodsport TEAM!
this scene and music makes me cry because its awesome
Lol
so lucky that my cousin was so into 80s movies especially van damme
that he introduced me and my brothers to this golden era
and seriously when you go deep into it you will never be able to go back
the soul and spirit of 80s and 90s is so so unique
Buenas memorias...
Bueno la viste ya un poco tarde! Yo la vi sobre el 90!! Junto a kick boxer!! Peliculón.
Same I still have it small Vhs box...
every day a take a bus in the night I put that song, and a look around try to find bolo x)

Jesus Stan Bush was a genius. This song, dare, and you got the touch...
I love when he's doing the mediation and splits over Hong Kong. I wish I could do something that crazy.
Best part 😩💕😈 love that part
It looks so awesome even though part of me says that the Hong Kong skyline may be superimposed to the scene (the camera angle seems off)
we will never see movie's like these anymore
Future is shit and its getting worst after 2013 there is nothing that worth mentioning or be Nostalgic about it....
That's the truth!
Agree, I love 1980's music and movies. Classics that resonate with the soul
Only good movies of martial arts were black belt and John wick
Solid _fire93 I wasn't even around in the 80's, so it's not just a nostalgia thing either, this movie was a gem. All those old 70's, 80's, and early 90's flicks will never be matched again.
yep,well said
I am so glad this was my childhood rather than what children look at and look up to today these days , I love this movie so much , the world won’t ever make anything like this ever again , what a treasure. thank you jcvd and all actors involved you are all amazing 🤍
respect to bolo, the ultimate bad guy
This song is bringing me 😢....speechless....💜💜💜
Going to be listening to this on New Year’s Eve at 11:57 pm...
I’ve had this song in my head for the last 4 days. Powerful.
Man, almost 30 years ago I used to watch this bit of “Bloodsport” and a handful of the fights featured in it before heading to the gym to hit the weights with two buddies. Top-notch inspiration for old-school barbell workouts in my high-school days...
Working out as I speak...basement gym...no distractions!
80s Montagues will always be a legendary part of Cinema
oscar moment acting scene
that jean claude accent makes me spit my coffee
Van Damme barely knows how to talk
Breath taking scene over looking Hong Kong, I could watch it a million times and it never gets old. Was a beautiful time in life for myself and friends all thinking about or training for the Olympics or just to better ourselves. I can't find a hand full of people that even watched the winter games now. Times have changed and not for the better it seems to me. Always pray🙏
I miss these old days
JCVD + 80's Music = 👑🔥
Classic nothing beats watching this at the movies man glad I did :)
80's babies stand up! CLASSIC
This movie takes back the memory lane, was a little boy in the slums.
This song is applicable in a multitude of ways. If you lost a match or game! If you feel depressed and isolated. If you broke up with a significant other. Last but not least, if you love nostalgia and this clip reminds you of your youth when things were simple.
Love it. Stan Bush is great
Best version of this tune if you ask me, great 80s passion
This song and most of the soundtrack in this film is phenomenal..!!

This song hits down to the bone...
man I need to work on stretching so I can do a split and save money and afford a trip to hong kong and do the split on a rooftop overlooking the city

unfortunately that platform was purely for the movie. its actually got a 45 degree angle "information board" there now. Informative but ugly!!...

Alexander The Greatest hahahahahhaha
Love the old times best stuff good scene of reflection and thoughts
Man we 80s babies were the luckiest to have some of the greatest movies long live US
Definetaly one of the best moment of Van damme
Bloodsport has been a running joke in my family for like 20 years.
My friends and I rented this movie when we were out at our family lake cabin. During the scene where he picks the guy up and breaks his back over his knee, my dad jumped up out of his chair, reached around and grabbed his back, yelped, and ran out of the room. He didn't come back for the rest of the movie.
Wtf, Soundz Legit on yer Dadz Part, hardworking Dads alike
Lmao everytime i watched this as a kid i would work out like crazy. Movie got me hype
wysoft u should be top comment
No mercy

This song makes so much more sense after one of my best friends passed away.
every time i fly to hong kong i go to the peak, enjoy the view and listen to this song. i love you jcvd.
Since a kids 80’s baby this song hit different in the movie and it applies to life across the board one love to all that relate to what that feels like
81 people don't want to see Frank get hurt.
They saw Chong Li's reflection and quit the kumite

81 people would chase the girl and pussy out.
Toby Royson
Then 81 people shouldn't watch.
Almost makes me cry every time I listen to this. It's such a moving song for me, despite the cheesiness of the movie.
who would say that was a low budget movie, he got 10000$ for this role. The movie has power and soul, we kids loved that. I still remember and it reminds me of my childhood. Thank you Van Damme, i always loved you.
I love this song
