- Lore about the Bloons Universe that comes straight from the Ninja Kiwi blog. They use this blog for Universe Building, but don't call it fully cannon as they don't want to have to commit to something they said in a blog post from years ago.

i love the idea that the copious amounts of ace pilots we sacrificed, were actually just hired to man the Goliath Doomship.

I like to think that the Sacrifice isn’t actually killing the Monkeys, but it’s just the act of handing them a severance paycheck and sending them home for retirement, and their old weapons are repurposed for combat. And Adora just levels up from sacrifices because she likes the feeling of relieving other monkeys of the dangerous, arduous task of popping bloons.
Nah she definitely eats them alive and drains their blood. The Sun gives life but also takes life.

If I had a nickel for every colorful cutesy game franchise that has an insane amount of depth and darkness to the canon lore, I’d have three nickels

The fact that the bloons have their own language and can speak must be pretty horrifying to hear since they're getting killed in what's basically a meat grinder

@@Box_man__ I've always wondered, how are the Bloons evil? They don't seem to dislike the monkeys, they're just trying to reach the exit, which the monkeys have never even been in. I wonder what the exits are, and why the Bloons want to go through them so badly.

I like the idea of the bloons stealing engineer sentries plannjng to attack the mokeys with them, but the sentries are still programmed to attack bloons. So the moment the bloons float onto the field, the sentries start attacking the bloons.

Venator-class Star Destroyers from the Star Wars universe have two bridges- one for command of the ship itself, and one for flight control of the onboard fighter squadrons. Maybe the second cockpit for the Doomship is a coordination center for the planes that deliver the air strikes when the player uses that power?
Well, the spectre dartship is confirmed as a the monkey equivalent to the real AC130 gunship, which has an aresenal of weapons, miniguns, big guns and even flares. And it required an entire crew to man a single big plane of doom.
So Goliath doomship having 2 cockpits is to divide the tasks of flying and manning the guns.
After all, they still need to see where they're shooting. With those many guns, a separate crew is needed for those guns.

Just note, the word is “canon” not “cannon”. Canon is the term used for the “true” universe of a genre or subject, cannon is a weapon used to launch heavy projectiles at enemies.

If I had to guess why the boomerang farm glitch happened, it'd probably be because of entity ids being changed around, and it just so happened that an employee messed up and forgot to change the ids for the banana farm. But that's just my guess

To be fair, the instability of the middle path Alchemist’s potion does have the ability to explode, but what I want to know is why bottom path doesn’t get buffed. At least those potions are completely stable… *r i g h t ?*
i think not considering they literally transform rubber and other materials into literal pure gold
I mean, transmutation would entail literal subatomic rearrangement on a (relatively) massive scale, requiring either to break apart and recombine atoms into gold or to *create more protons* to tack onto the atoms

personally i hated the "all towers are monkeys, even the tack shooter" idea till i started thinking about how it'd work, and i came up with explanations on how they work.
tack shooter: there is a underground hole where 2 monkeys chill in. the shooter itself uses big pizza-shaped mags for the low-fire rate upgrades, with higher tiers ditching mags and feeding the tacks/saws/fuel fully auto. one puts the mags into position while the other manually reloads the mags, with it slowly being more automated each speed upgrade.
bomb shooter: for the first few tiers the bomb shooter is controlled remotely by a monkey cause shrapnel shots and bigger bombs carry the risk of hitting the shooter, plus the cannon is very bulky.
however, for the later tiers it no longer uses any monkeys whatsoever, being a simple ai that is monitored by a small team of monkeys every couple minutes, most likely having the same type of ai used in bloonchippers but modified.
spike factory: same as tack shooter, one monkey empties a bag of spikes into a bucket, loads it up, and the factory launches it.
however, with the factory it only needs 1 monkey, and it gets automated too. the monkey eventually just checks if everything works smoothly

Fact 9 gives me an idea about what will the alch paragon potions be:

NK is still yet to explain how 1 projectile can pass through multiple Bloons and only strip the top layer off... Like does it go through the blue layer and then avoid the red layer and then do the same to the next and so on lol

I assume that Bloons are made of such a tough material that weaker darts simply shatter upon popping one layer, and the darts that can pop more layers are just made of stronger material.

@@thatonebonkchoyguy I think he meant how do projectiles take a layer off of one bloon, skip the layer underneath of the layer just popped, and then the projectile passes over to the next bloon. I was confused how this worked so I looked at it closely with the boomerang. The boomerang will hit 3 bloons in a row but only the first layer of each bloon. So if all the bloons are blue, the boomerang will hit all 3 bloons but it will only strip off the blue layer from them, not the red, even though technically the boomerang does 3 damage.
Maybe it only hits the top of the bloon?
The balloons must have mounted sentrys in an attempt to fight back without reprogramming them

but on one thing that both lych and vortex agrees on is that they never appeared on bloonarius prime thats because bloonarius was very territorial and the only map to have a boss exclusive path

You know how the gla I’ve lord had banana farms around it, once I was spamming ninja monkeys on the map resort to get a higher paragon degree and one of the gla Ives turned into a ninja monkey

If I ever made a Bloons "movie" the first scene would probably be a ZOMG hovering apocalyptically over a monke city where everybody is panicking at the incoming invasion. It pops itself and millions of bloons come pouring out down every street and into every building.
Now, here's the thing. Bloons by themselves aren't dangerous. It's their insidious desire to rush and occupy all living spaces of monkeys. To the point that all monkeys within and outside are squeezed together and suffocated whilst the bloons never utter a sound. Silently the bloons pile in to their houses and sit there as more bloons come rushing in. The last shot is of a family of monkeys being squeezed to death in between the pressure of thousands of innocent, unknowing bloons.
Add to all this that the bloons created when a bloon is popped are called "children" and you have a rather grisly scenario of multiple babies erupting from the impaled/disemboweled parents.
I remember subbing to you when you were only at 7k, you've come so far! Keep up the great work
