Wonderful playthrough, Jason! Your enthusiasm is really contagious. I want to play more Pandemic now! After the first epidemic at 17:30 the outbreak was unavoidable, given the reversive "shuffle". BOOM :)
After watching your eradication video and falling in love with the game, I bought it, and played it for the first time today, luckily ended up with the full eradication using your trio of role cards. It was lucky card draw, but I’m buzzing, Thankyou for showing me this amazing game Jason!!
34:30 Needed to draw a third infection card! Personally I like to prioritize making another research station on the other side of the world, it really helps with moving around. But I don't usually go for the eradication challenge (though it is great to eradicate one or two diseases early if you can manage it). I don't have any of the expansions so I'm looking forward to the rest of the series.
The eradication definitely affected my strategy. Like you, in a normal game, I look to increase movement options, even if it means breaking an early potential set. I get the four eradications maybe 30% of the time. It's a nice way to jazz up playing the base game.
Hi Jason. It was awesome. Pandemic is my number 1 board game in my list along with its on the brink expansion . Lot of replaybility and fun. Thanks to Zman for making suck kind of game and thank to you for making the pandemic series. Would you like to try my second number board game in my list i.e. Ticket to Ride USA. Its a superfun and strategy game and again lot of replaybility. Love these games so much.
I thought moving to a space and removing disease would be 2 separate actions? Several times you land on a city, remove disease and counted it as one action?
So cool! Thanks Jason. Looking forward to watching the series. I've had In The Lab for yonks and still not played it! SMH Just thought...after the last couple of years, does one need to wear a mask when playing Pandemic? lol

Without that, I get the eradication!!!

This warms my heart :). Thanks for sharing, and I hope you enjoy discovering the rest of the series.

You can really tell how much you've played this game by the state of the cards.
No question. It's my most played solo game by a country mile.

With the Medic, that’s how it works.
