In spite of knowing all those intricacies yourself I wonder how you can easily relate and appeal to a common person like me and take me alongside your learned discourse ! Knowledge is always partial and limited. Also, knowledge should not make anyone puff up and feel superior to anyone. It is people, not knowledge, that matters in the end. Knowledge is only for the good of the people, whom I am required to love.
Thanks for your very insightful comments. I write these lines with great respect for you. Are we to completely reject Christian Apologetics because a few are misusing it or doing it poorly? Is that not throwing the baby out with bathwater? Isn't Apologetics an integral part of the Christian faith? Are we not commanded to give an answer to everyone who asks the reason for our hope (1 Peter 3:15)? Did not the great Origen, Tertullian, and other early Church Fathers engage in Apologetics?
