this is also by no means an extensive list, it’s just some of my favourites that i was able to remember off the top of my head :3 some people in the comments have left some really great examples too

Sad my favorite instrumental pause ever wasn't in here :( The pause in the second chorus of Love Dive is god tier.
love dive is a really great one! but i try to highlight more underrated songs, or songs that aren’t as popular as they once were in my videos instead of just posting about the songs that everyone else on k-tube already is.

As soon as I see the true kween Nam Dawon, I knew damn well Pantomime would be the prime example. Would like to add Fx Airplane too! Using the instrumental pauses to release the tension built up in the pre chorus is a genius move
Some other mention-worthy tracks are Never Ever - Jiyeon, Love Dive - IVE, Done, Save Me Save You, Secret, You You You, Masquerade, Cantabile, Easy - WJSN. Damn WJSN really utilizes this production technique so much
