I love how you've gone through progressions here. Diagram - drill - semi live - game. Really good stuff and hopefully a lot of coaches are able to take certain things from this....or the WHOLE thing. Well done.
Point guard making the Early Offense pass to the wing, then empty out to the opposite corner would be my favorite way to start this offense. Requires a wing player that has solid ballhandling skills.
I am a first-year coach of 7-8 grade girls and I will be implementing this in offseason. I will likely use a box set with bigs close to the block vs. all five players completely out.
I like this offense. I used something similar in my offense. Good luck the rest of the tournament. You are a fantastic coach. You should be coaching at Jackson. They need a coach like you in that program...
Love your offenses coach. Quick question, off the pass entry is it always a guard to guard screen? Do you have a rule on whether and when the post sets the on ball screen or the guard sets it?
Thank you. We run this offense as a set against 2-3 zones. See the link: ruclips.net/video/syS8Jnq-sug/видео.html If you have more questions, email me math@hackenberg.biz
Coach - been looking at the Gonzaga and other continuity ballscreen offenses. Love the way your break it down. Do you have an email I can contact you at, or can you comment on the following? What different actions defending the ballscreens did you see and how did you react? The typical - hard hedge, switch, under, 'ice' ... but also does anyone blitz trap your ballscreens hard and then try to flood over to the roll? Many thanks!
great video. What kind of reactions, if any, do you have for when the ball handler coming of the screen is doubled? and secondly, when the reversal from ballhandler to what I call the slot (top of lane line)?
This is a great video and I like the various looks that you can get from the isolated ball screen. I wish I could see the play run through in its' entirety. What happens when you don't get the first look and you need to reverse the ball? How does the offense then stay in a "continuity" action and keep going?

We run this at our school and You have given me some options that I didn't realize we could do. Thanks for the time and effort. Great job.
Glad it’s been useful for you. If you haven’t yet, there is a full playlist of concepts from this offense #EuroOffenseTips

Don't "look back" unless you get a big center against a short forward or guard. Excellent video demonstrating key plays.
Good point! Thanks for watching

Great Video. We started using this set and it works wonders.
Thanks for the comment Gregory. Fun offense to teach and play in

Matt, great video! Do you have a series of breakdown drills for reads and skill development?
Great video, Coach. Thanks for posting. Interested in knowing what adjustments you made against zone defenses?

We try and run it higher when teams are hedging hard or doubling, get a quick reversal and high low to the roller.

+Matt Hackenberg Thanks coach I appreciate it
Is there a place to get the play diagrams you put in this video?
Sure. email me matth@hackenberg.biz
Very important to have a Stretch-5 to make teams pay for dropping off ballhandlers.
Hey I am a varsity girls basketball coach and after watching this video I would love to get some more information on this offense.
