I found one of these that someone had thrown out. That’s a monster of a remote! I think I’m gonna look for one of these because it’s very sleek! Looks almost like an Apple product.
The AC input (C8 male) is in a position just behind the VESA mounting plate, which makes it near impossible to plug in the Ac Cable (C7 Female ).
I think a lot of people are mistaken that a 120hz tv is needed when playing game. This Google TV was not designed for gaming although you can with slight lag due to processing from console input to processer to TV output as stated from Sony website. The 60hz is not the issue here just that there is no " Game Mode " and that is where Sony went wrong with this great TV. " Game Mode " what it does is bypasses the processor that processes enhancements like smoothing, motion blur, and 120hz.
Hello, I’ve this Tv but lost the remote control. Is there an alternative one I can use to replace it?
Does anyone know if you can set audio to analog audio? I have a computer connected (computer has dvi out with an hdmi adapter so I can plug it into the tv) I need to be able to set analog audio because the tv is trying to push the audio over the hdmi connection, but the computer won’t play nice with the dvi out

Does this tv really suck for gaming because I see reviews saying to lags to much
just brought this at a resale store beautiful, tv works fine. was able to connect to my wifi I just cant open up the youtube or other apps. I'm not to tech savy any suggestions

I still have the 40” inch and can not update RUclips - no longer supported. Play store only allows a few apps to install, and none is RUclips. Chrome won’t update, Browser is very slow. But wondering what that port. Looks like a 30 pin connector wil do?

@jliverty yes 60hz is not the best refresh rate.. if you want clean and smooth movement, go for 120hz or higher.. if you want to spend a little less but get a very high refresh rate, plasma tvs have up to 600hz refresh rate.
@xSiLenTx510 Yes, it does. i had to get a seperate TV for gaming, and enjoy my google tv for blu rays. Sony is working on createing a "Game Mode" option soon. but soon was about a year ago. so who knowwwwsss

Ya if ur playing games and u like watching high speed content like sports you need a tv with 120 Hz refresh rate. This one just looks beautiful but its only 60 HZ. 60 Hz usually works for most people although you might notice a blur once in a while ,when watching high speed content on a big screen you might wanna a tv with 120 Hz or higher

This TV was made for a more intelligent civilisation. U.S sales got hampered by early reviews that complained about picture quality (nothing I noticed) and a fundamental SW upgrade came 6 months too late. Sony sales accountants discontinued it when their excel sheet graphs pointed the wrong way. What a stupid move. This should have been a strategic launch in all its iconic grandeur with some financial endurance to match. It is an Android developer´s dream TV. You can develop Android apps on your laptop and debug on the 1080p screen with Android Debug Bridge (adb) over Wifi. Just wow. No other Sony TV ever comes close to the NSX series. It runs Android Honeycomb (Android 3) and has Ethernet and N speed Wifi with 5Ghz support as well. As a developer, imagine what your apps can do with that connectivity.
I´m a happy owner so I have nothing to complain about. Your apps can access the file system of SD cards you plug in at the back, and so on.
fuck i wanted the Samsung UN46D7000 but i heard that this tv is a hell of a lot smarter when it comes to surfing the web and that it can go directly to sites you want to go to without having to put in the entire url again. because with most smart tv's they do not remember the sites you were on. basically which television would be better?

this tv is a great tv besides the fact that sony screwed all its customers in the long run when they abandoned the platform and stuck with the android platform. Now all the purchasers of this TV are stuck with an updatable piece of hardware. No updates what so ever since 2012. Cant even update chrome
