People don't realize that the above XZ Premium was being used on regular basis for 1full year and went through lot of tests still managed to win over S9. If SAMSUNG flagship lets say Note 8(not even considering S8/8+) was to be used for 1 full year that would have lagged like hell. XZ Premium is still King of Smartphone even with the launch of new XZ2.

Every little icon, button and graphic looks unreal in 4k HDR. Highly recommend turning the 4k HDR on (only have to download a dialer since the dialer cannot handle 4K, but lots available on google play).
I've also had it 6 months only fault I have with it is the fingerprint scanner is a bit of a pain sometimes but other than that best phone I've ever had so far 👍🏻

Well yeah, but the SD, as per usual, is slower than the Exynos, and more so this year than usual. The Exynos S8 crapped on the SD835, including the one in the sony. Also the phone's body is hideous and the camera is only good if you have perfect lighting conditions.
Yep xz premium is quicy. Learn to live with it. And battery life is pretty much as good as speed and 4k and headphones jack with hi res quality sound and so on what sony lacks is just night shot performance and details in far objects should be better. But overall no way that this is bad or average phone.

Amaaaazing strength), free software updates, expandable storage with micro SD card, foregin SIM in abroad with dual slot without any setting, just unrivalled comparison to shit stealing copying exploding Samsung, or inbuilt faults of iphone hardware hell killing the planet with battery heavy metal shit. Also I found iphone cannot turn off camera shutter noise, only cloud storage for photos, violation of privacy, and so annoying being next to those with iphone in art gallery or tranquil gardens spoil the atmosphere by just a click. Sony Xperia phones are always killing the slowest phone in the world: Samsung. Because after weeks when using Samsung s9 you will notice the lags 😓 plus when you playing games in the s9 it became already the lowest frame per second phone.
This kind of test is useless. Your both fingers are not syncronize. I can see clearly especially in slowmotion mode. Any other channel that does this kind of test with their own fingers are just not fair. We need a machine that can test it (precise and syncronize).

Based on my experiece with both , S9 is better in SW, Android UI and user exeprience, For example: on S9 just touch the finger print sensor while getting the phone of you pocket to unlcok it, on sony you need the click the side button, - Task bar on S9 have more usable settings - i don't need to mention how more practical and convenient S9's size and weight . For sony i cant complain about the HW, but was surprised to find S9 external speakers sound louder and better than Sony's, Not a photo fan to go comment on that area, i care the most about what affects the continuous experience.
i got the xz1 and its amazing... battery life is really great i never have to worry about battery life throughout the day... camera snaps really fast just bang bang bang... i had the z5 before this and it was much more of a drag
No I need to review my comment after 1 Month experience with s9 and XZ premium, I miss s9 and won't hesitate to buy it again I will choose, user experience is much better, shortcuts, feature organisation, locking (face, recognition), heart rate sensor. It was a downgrade for me to be honest regardless how the camera may be better, and as a normal camera user I hadn't felt a real dge for sony. The size and weight for s9 is more. Conviniet

On paper impressive. Reality no. And overpriced. A lot. Then is that test. That finger pressing thing is far from accurate. We talk milliseconds of difference could be serious for the eye perception of which is faster and which not. And last. Samsung sells because of mostly it's gorgeous screens and design,+ the edge line. Everyone, almost,knows,that it's laggy, overpriced and insufficient, but that Amoled attracts people like a honey to the bees.
The XZ Premium is an absolute beast, KOs most old phones out there..and still boxing the newbies.

After upgradation of android version 8.0 to 9.0 Pie, my Sony Xperia XZ Premium mobile lost its "4K HDR performance".
Proud of my XZ Premium. And that's nothing.. I play rainbow 6 siege in it thanks to the PS4 remote play and it's very fast.
