You're exactly right! I saw it a few years ago and was sooooo happy because every single thing he pointed out were the mistakes I had been preaching to my choir for years! Some of the parts aren't what folks assume they are... just been WRONG for almost 30 years lol

Yes I’ve seen it. I agree it sad because when I say ‘busted ears’ I’m not referring to just not knowing music, I’m referring to actual hearing loss and using hearing aids. Like I do.
RUclips videos over 5 years old have less than subpar sound quality and isn’t anywhere near as clear as videos like this one. There’s also numerous tutorials available for this song with that same lack of quality.
But thanks for letting folks know that it’s out there. Mr. Smallwood is a wonderful teacher and I wish he had a better sound/tech team working with him for that tutorial. Seemed like a missed opportunity.

Great job at staying up on the A natural for "peace You." Many altos come down to the A flat on "You" which isn't correct.
Thanks. It irks me to my core when I hear this mistake that mostly all choirs make. There are others incorrect notes they sing, but the A natural for "peace You" is one I stressed to my praise team.
