The area just below the bridge by starting area where the ocean flows into to the reserve is the best spot for finding massive fish. Got a Diamond Zander there on my second cast and the other times I catch 20-30lb+ Atlantic salmon without fail on a 2/0 Spoon. Used the same lure to catch the Diamond. I’m only level 26 so I don’t have the strongest line or lure just yet but I know you can get the 40 pounders there cause my buddy was with me and he was catching them.
That's my absolute favorite spot in Norway I have found so far, even more than the char lake. I recommend also trying 3/0 crankbait a little further into the sea once you have stronger line, I have gotten a couple gold salmon twitching that.
Getting Jigging With It. I may as well go fishing, GP expires sometime tomorrow and I doubt I can play Norway even though I own it and not the base game.
3rd time today twice in the morning against the shore once out from the island about 9;45 size 5 hook red worm 2 feet down all three ...........Thanks Coach lol back 2 it
a session is 99 worms or bait ...in this session so far with 29 left i have 12 diamonds .......8 chub,1 bullhead,1 burbot from golden ridge and 2 blue gill the blue gill on minnow everything else worms #5.... what a pb..wow back 2 it
LOVE the Norway reserve. More than I thought I would. Got a nice gold pike last night by the Viking ship. Using a #3 spinnerbait. Definitely a challenging map.
Just a heads up, you don't need to reel and jig at the same time. Have caught many lake trout by just letting a jig sink and then holding the button, as long as it says "jigging" in the bottom right, fish will be attracted. As a new console player, been loving the hotspot guides
@MrMac969 bloodworms near a lake shore at night. If you go to the handbook in game it tells you everything you need to know. The baits and locations are both in descending order, so the first ones listed are the best to use. I've caught many sauger doing exactly that. Size 7 and a bloodworm near a lakeshore, especially on the eastern (red rocks) area of the map
Also I've not had any issues with daily or weekly challenges, im not sure what issue you're having with them but since they worked on the servers last week it's been fine for me
Diamonds seem near to impossible to catch.I have no luck with diamonds in call of the wild the hunter,and it looks like the same for this game.I just wish the daily and weekly challenges would start working again.
I'm level 47 and i have been playing this game a long time. I agree, getting Diamonds or even golds is getting ridiculous hard. I think EW should change the difficulty for getting trophy fish because right now the game feels repetitive and boring.
I just caught a0.16lb y perch and had a thought you should add a bonus point for the smallest catch weight and length would love to see how small they get.getting the Norway map during the week cheers for the tips
watching the vid for locations mate but your hook sizes are way off…! diamond zander on a size 7 jig? size 7 hook for a diamond perch (perfect for golden ridge but europerch much bigger) so… size 1 with shad for zander and size 4 for diamond perch… and please slow down… you speak way too fast! thx for the locations at least… not a total loss
Im level 29 must have caught like 300 fish now, plenty of golds but not a single diamond even when i try these spots 😂

Diamonds will bite down sizes of hooks, I caught my diamond perch and diamond Asp on size 7 hook, I also caught my Diamond Zander on a size 6 hook
