    I've been to Osnabruck many times from the states since I was a child to visit my Aunt. Sadly, she is now gone, but I miss my walks from Rosenplatz to the shopping sections with here. Osnabruck is one of those places with a magical feel for me 💌 Thanks for the nice video 🙂

    This video did a good job strategically avoiding Neumarkt.
    Don't get me wrong, great city, but god it's hard to watch Neumarkt transform into such a blight of an eyesore on the city.

    Loved osnabruck, was stationed there thro my 6yr army career, beautiful people and culture, and the food was to die for, still now, as I remember it, from the 80's, ❤

    For all readers: i am from this town and still live here. And i can tell you, besides of those pictures which are shown here, osnabrück is a really ugly city. Really ugly! everyone in my environment also says that this city isnt worth to live in. If you want to see a pretty city, travel to Bielefeld, it offers a lot more and is just 60km away from Osnabrück.

      So viele deutsche dumme Mundwerke. What about if you just shut your trap. Osnabrück is beautiful. If you don’t like it there piss off. Oder wie wir deutsche sagen, “verpiss Dich”.

    • @Longknife
      @Longknife Год назад

      I would call Neumarkt really ugly now, but beyond that I think Osnabrück is fine.
      I think one of Osnabrück's underrated features is it's population density: big enough to be a city, not big enough to suffer from constant crowds and too many people. It's just the right population size where you can both catch a moment alone and immediately find someone to talk to, if you need.

      Have you been to Ankum? My great grandfather lived at "Schultenhof" near Ankum. The old "manor house" (?) burnt down in the 1960's and no relatives own the land anymore. The land is now owned by a software company but some of tge stone outbuildings are still there. I'd like to visit one-day.
