Very good commentary. Subscribed to you and looking forward to how the season plays out with your new bike (I'm looking into getting a TE300i). I'm looking at branching out from Illinois and trying a few sprint enduros in Michigan this year, so maybe see you out on the track!
Thanks man! I was honestly tied between the Te300i and the Te150i. I found this 2020 on a good deal and I liked the weight of a smaller bike anyways so it was a win/win. I will be posting sprint enduro stuff throughout the season as well. Hope to see you out at the races!
How noticeable is the weight difference of the 150i vs the RM? Looking at making the same bike swap but I'm considering the tc125 with the overbore cylinder for the weight savings.
Honestly it feels about the same. The TE150i to the RM125 feels the same even after racing it for 2 hours straight. If you go with the tc125 and do the BB, you might as well just get the TE150i and call it a day. Its kinda the same bike really when it comes down to it.
@@gritz731 Im probably over thinking it. I like the simplicity of the carbed and premix tc with no oil pump or tpi to fail. With a 20lb weight difference wasn't sure how substantial that would feel riding
@@andyXhorror yea, its really not that much different. Ill tell you what though... my RM250 with the BB felt heavier for sure. Not much more weight but when you ride that around for 2 hours you can feel it wear you down. That RM250 was too overpowered, it was built for the tracks for sure.
That was me on the 94 kawi at 18:52 I a impressed with bottom end torque of your bike. Great video
Thank you! I still had a few kinks to work out but it should be smooth for Dutch Sport Park this weekend! Love the old Kawi! Let that bike sing! 👊😎✊
@@gritz731 see you at dutch
