The dialogue about black people being naturally submissive in the brain is not true, it was an example of the fake science that they used back in the day to justify having slaves and treating black people as if they were less than human. Quentin Tarantino is known for his over the top action scenes in his movies , every time you see an exaggerated death scene its most likely done on purpose😂
😂oh ok thank you gang
Look up "phrenology"
the N word comes from the latin language word for the color "black". It was turned against black people as a slur.
A comfort girl, exactly what it sounds like. To make you “satisfied”
“How much you think Shaq going for” KILLED ME🤣🤣
A Good milly
@@ReactWithJohn so 1858. Roughly $27,000 would have been equivalent to $1,000,000 in 2023. So $12,000 was almost half a million … almost.
As an avid Looney Tunes kid back in the day you had me screaming at the screen Yosemite and then you find out and pronounce the name wrong . 😂 I was saying sweet Jesus help this poor child with some knowledge but we didn't come up in the same Era and if you don't know then it's a learning experience as my daddy use to say .The thing about the skull was bullshit science debunked long ago . In between the nacial slurs in this movie is pure poetry . The actors went to great lengths to sound and act as if they were there . I applaud anyone who dares to learn history because we are doomed to repeat if not .
This movie probably set the record for the most times the "N" word was said in a motion picture.
That hair tho bro👌
The weather was a lot colder back then
The thing with the bumps on the skull was a pseudoscience called phrenology that was popular in the 1800s
Negus in Africa means King, white man took it and made his own like they did everything else from black Kings and Queens 👑
i learned something extraordinary today thanks to you. ty.
@@spiralout1999 learn something new everyday 👍🏿
😂 u ignorant morons. African slaves were sold into slavery by other Africans. Even today there is close to 1 million slaves in Africa.
Wrong. Niger, nigreos, nigrans, nirgrus, nigrum-- all forms of the word which come from the original LATIN (simply meaning "black" in any context), under which the languages of Italian, Spanish, Romanian, Portuguese and French, originate. This was quite literally, a "White man's word" from the beginning. It was APPLIED to African countries and territories that were colonized by mainly French colonials. That's also why a lot of African nations have French as their official languages. So, is a word still "stolen" if used by Black folks, or is it only "stolen" if used by White folks? I can only imagine the mental gymnastics you'll have to use to answer this question, based on the ignorance of your comment. The N-word as we know it today, was and is absolutely used by some White people, as well as Indians and other Asian people, to dehumanize, discriminate, and abuse Black people. But it was also used as a simple descriptor for centuries, by people who were NOT actually racist. Just as the word, "N*g*o" was used as a descriptor by all races in America, and was for a long time the preferred term for Black people, by Black people. It's why the NAACP is still called that today (I think they should change it, because it's no longer appropriate according to the Black community). See, this is how words work. For example, the same word (the N-word) is often used by Black people today (again, all over the world) as a stand-in for the word, "friend". But it is also used by Black people as an insult for one another. So, when, in your estimation, is it appropriate to keep a word? A word that is "stolen"? A word that is used as an insult, AND as a friendly descriptor? Is it ever ok?
Lolz the Blk African kings sold they own ppl to the white men , u gotta stop listening to shit that the racist American government taught y'all in school , there's a reason we never talk bout real history because they want us to hate them so we all act a fool & ruin our souls!!!! Study African history not African American history!!!! U ain't learned nothing , u just gon hold hate in ur heart & act a fool just like they want u to
Yosemite - Yo - sim - it - tee. Yosemite Sam is the mustache guy. I have him on my mud flaps, and he has his irons out, saying "Back Off" 8-)
🤣
agyptians are pretty light skinned over all, some might even get mistaken for caucasians. And cleopatra was from what we call Greece today, those people are also very light skinned even tho they are not caucasian. Black and White are stupid labels, I'm german and we look very alike to our neighbors but none of our cultures are alike. you can experience great diversity in europe even tho everyone looks the same. I'm over exaggerating btw, I can kinda tell if someone is more from the east or the west of europe, but the differences in appearence are small.
had no idea youve never seen this, seems like you'd love it. also shutter island is great
I watch a lot of reaction channels but you are so wonderful. I subscribed because your smile is so bright and your so funny and endearing.
thank you. This helps my self esteem so much. Much love to you ❤️
I cant remember if it was Jamie Fox or Samuel L Jackson but you should watch them talk about trying to help DiCaprio with saying the N word because he was initially uncomfortable with it. Also can’t wait for whatever your next Tarantino reaction is 🔥 also DiCaprios hand was actually bleeding when he slammed it but he kept it pushing for the scene so the injury is real
Tarantino has never made a bad move.
i bet he wont/hasn’t
This is really horrific... but then all of this is... I live in Australia and one time my brothers bike got stolen when I was a kid. The cops came and one of them told my mam... to fill a sack with aboriginal clothes (if she could get some) tie them in a sack over the dogs head....
and beat the dog (we had a bull terrier) and that would make her attack on sight. My mother threw him out of course but... she never said she did any kind of reporting.
my point is maybe that's how you get a dog to attack
Remember Mandingo fight was to death.

Once upon a time in Hollywood is a great Leo n Tarantino film one of his best
Another fire reaction bro
Much love
I've always heard the word originated because the ships had to cross the Niger River to get the slaves to America. The slave traders decided to call the slaves that, but they mispronounced the name of the river. So yeah, pretty dumb word made up by some even dumber people.
That's why I like his movies no fun to watch a movie if you already can figure out what's gonna happen ?
I love his writing, so different, never know what's going to happen, but always greY. .
Definitely should watch “training day” next with Denzel it’s amazing
I was gonna watch paid in full then american gangsta then training day honestly but idk training day needs to be first right?😂
@@ReactWithJohn oh and a very good list gem of black Comedy is the movie “life” with Eddie Murphy and Martin Lawrence
You gotta watch No Country for Old Men bro, shit is legendary
Added it to my watchlist
The word mean black in Latin well with one g that how it came about
South Carolina had the worst conditions believe it or not
Eskimos are a people. They are now called native Canadians. We were always taught they lived in igloos but that is probably just a stereotype.
No they are called
Inuit, and they are indigenous people of Alaska, Canada & Greenland! And people wonder why we are nearly last in education out the industrialized nations!
The n- word is like ..just watch Spanish people from Spain, trying to give advice to people from American continent

😔my bad i apologize
@@ReactWithJohn I'm just being a twat bro lol part of being a dork about history. Funny ass reaction brotha. Will be playing more of your videos while I game ✌
@@DirtSpud 😂Much Love.
also thats one thing i wished school taught us was more history and facts instead of slavery every year at least where i am.
@@ReactWithJohn Trust me I get that bro, the schools I went to were pushing the bare minimum. I'm part Native American and knew they weren't teaching everything. It honestly sucks man. Cultures are way more than the struggles they went through.
..... this was tough to watch. You need better culture education. And in general.
Blame American school system leave the child out of it man 😞
Are you really suggesting that because our School system sucks, we should excuse the fact a young man who is capable of using social media and smartphones doesn’t have the minimum chronically thinking skills to figure out that he’s not genetically inferior and needs google to know that???
Sorry but saying nfl and nba players making millions is equal to 38:59 slaves being killed is ignorant
You right my bad.
hsve you seen john wick 4
Nah heard its 3hr and 2 hr is fighting 😂
@@ReactWithJohn Still epic tho. Think you'll like it
Ima react to it
It's humor, not comedy.
Hmmm
22:48 bro wdym "it's that word" it was just those times, your acting like white people never said it even though they invented it
Explain further?
@@ReactWithJohn alright check this out white people created the n word there's no doubt that and you were getting weirded out because they were saying it even though it was just apart of the norm
Ya because its a bad word right? I wasnt weirded out. I guess its just an automatic reaction from hearing the word🤷🏾♂️
@@ReactWithJohn I can’t remember who said it. But someone defended the over used N word saying that the movie used it less than it was actually said during that time. So if they were just trying to establish dialog fitting that time period, they did a good job. Plus the shock value.
How can u not know if Egyptians were black, of course they weren't. The ignorance of African Americans is unbelievable
It's not so clear-cut. Black and white as we know the terms are a relatively recent invention. Sub-Saharan Africans, Semitic, and North African Berbers. mixed in that society. Hell, at one time Nubians from upper Egypt ran Lower Egypt. Egyptians were mixed.
It can’t be as ignorant as the generalization of an entire race. You know that makes you, don’t you??
