Nice video and explanation 👍 just started here in the UK air rifle benchrest shooting. Just bought my first air rifle the weihrauch HW97K with the Hawke Eclipse SF 3-12×50 scope
The adjustment on the front ocular lens on some scopes is not for magnification adjustment but is for parallax adjustment replacing or rather than having a side parallax focus on the optic.
All new to me so question, can I adjust the parallex (side focus) for say, 300 yards and it stays accurate out to 700 yards, or in other words, do I need to adjust for different yardage
In theory if the image down range stays clear or I focus and you have consistent cheak weld on the stock you might be able to get away with it. But...I would expect to be making some degree adjustment
This is the series I’ve been waiting for. Great explanation. I wish the paperwork that came with my scope explained it that well. Much appreciated!
Glad it was helpful!

On the far end yes. Never seen a parallax on near end before.
Well done man !
Thank you
Sounds good, thanks
You bet!
Good one. Thank you!
More coming. Follow along :) Thanks for the pop in.
Excellent! Do you have videos which address the elevation and windage turrets?
Yes there are a few.
@@RugerGundog Thank you,
Good tip...
It's a must do. Giddy up!

I found this out the hard way. Wish I knew this a year ago when I got my first Arken optic. Once I got past that its great.
Right on
