I keep coming back to the tunes done in this location on this night. 1. the sound is terrific, it's a quaint enough setting without much background noise and it just comes off nicely. 2. something about the energy that night for this rendition of the band. string section is awesome, quietly kicking ass keeping the rhythm.
Ewan was playing the clarinet like Craig in this one, and Shay seemed to like it. Those altississimo notes at the end (the long dominant leading into the final tonic) were especially Craig-like, and I liked them too.
I love this band...I've started watching their videos. The music is so lovely. I saw something odd in this video...Go to 0:55 and pause it...Look at how the man walking away is dressed...His coat and hat are from a time long ago...and quite odd for April...The band has on short sleeves for the most part...Just thought it was odd....or....did I find something....👀
