    Hi, how long does the BLi300 battery last using full speed? Thanks.

    did it work? why not use a husqvarna blade? can you put a special cap on it as well?

    • @KWfirewood

      Yes it works great, I'm not sure what blades husqvarna make, but oregon are good

      @@KWfirewood Thanks. Have you mulched brambles with it (from top to bottom)? I don't think you're using a mulching cap, but just the one that is on it? I bought the same accu equipment too and bought an oregon 2 teeth blade too to try it out. I think officially it's not been tested and certified to use it on this machine. Husqvarna told me it's not made for it. But I have heard from you and another person that it can be used for this task. So i'm looking in more insight in it, because it's strange you would not be able to mulch with the most powerful electric brush cutter on the market.

      @@mr.gorillaz8449 Yes I'm sure they would say the same about chainsaw chain - you must only use Husqvarna! I've mulched plenty of brambles and also much thicker harder stuff like gorse, broom, small trees etc. With the 3 tooth Oregon mulching blades you get a choice of 3mm and 4mm thick, you need the 3mm for this machine.

      @@KWfirewood thanks a lot for telling me about the 3mm/4mm, very informative. I'm lucky and I ordered the right one: the 3mm. Would it be impossible to use the 4mm?

      @@mr.gorillaz8449 You might find the thicker blade is too heavy, if there's too much load on the head the machine won't fire up. I have another heavy blade that doesn't work.

    Kyle, how are you finding the battery usage 3 months on? My first use yesterday with a BLi200 (5.4 ah) and grass blade mostly on mid speed setting delivered what felt like a little over 10 minutes of use before draining the battery (I'll time it for an accurate number). The battery came out hot and the QC500 needed maybe 15 mins to cool it enough before starting the recharge cycle. Battery currently at the dealer for a health check scan.

      Hi, you defiantly need the bli300 (9.4ah) battery for this machine. They also do 2 larger backpack batteries, but the problem with them is they upset the balance of the brushcutter. I've had this for 10 months now, but most of it's use is with the line head strimming grass, which it is fantastic for! Occasionally a battery will cut out due to overheat, but it will have done 30mins of strimming full throttle, and will have ran out of charge so time to swap anyway.
      Climate in the North of Scotland might be different to you : 20-25°C is a hot summers day here!!

    How long does the battery last? Looks like a great piece of kit!

      It's a great machine, but you can't get all that power for nothing. Using the 9.4ah battery 20-30mins on full throttle

    Does this have variable throttle?

    • @KWfirewood
      @KWfirewood  9 месяцев назад +1

      Yes, and a "cruise control" so you can hold it at a lower power setting

    Hi ! From my knowledge this machine is not made to receive this sort of tools. 🧏‍♂️

      altho i've seen people mulching with electric machines before too, that were even lighter than this one, so i'm wondering how they do that
