this is straight up betrayal to your old fans... go from one of the best rock bands out there to this... I am certain if I were to have pledged money to you and gotten this I would have asked for my money back...
Well, I have pledged money to VERIDIA, have bought merch and have supported all their music from the very beginning and I can say with absolute confidence that I do not regret any of my support, financial or otherwise. Obviously, everyone is entitled to their own opinions, however, as a supporter and fan, VERIDIA has met me where I needed to be, helped me through pain and celebrated with me, both as a whole band and as individual members and regardless of genre/musical style. I certainly am not disappointed in the slightest.
@@ameliarosezimlich8972 I can respect that. I am just not a huge fan of bands making such huge genre changes. It has happened to me with several bands and it has always resulted in me basically never listening to them again. Reason being they usually never play their old stuff again. The only bands I can say for certain I haven't done that with would be Toby Mac and Switchfoot. However, Newsboys (after lead singer change. Except as of recently when they now tour with the old singer.). Another band, for example, is Hillsong United, Building 429, Falling Up (the genre change actually ended up killing this band which sucks cause they were amazing), and obvious Veridia. I am certain there are others. But it seems to be slipping my mind of who they are. Usually, I understand the genre change. Sometimes I feel bands do it just to get in with the times instead of sticking it out and fighting through the crowd that may not be the easiest to find your fans. I know for a fact in my area it is impossible to find any Christian Rock music on the airways and basically forces people to listen to pop or worship... Being I am a rock fanboy it kinda stings watching these epic rock bands change to pop or pop worship. I have never been a fan of pop music which is likely why that is the case. Back in the day, I thought Manic Drive was POP... Boy was I wrong and feel I should have supported them more back in the day. By this point, you can tell I am not an internet troll and was generally butthurt that this band changed to pop. It actually hurt my heart. I was so looking forward to what rock music they were gonna put out and when I listened I was greatly disappointed and unsatisfied. However, in the end, no one can please all and that is understandable.

Agentsix1 I can understand why you're upset. At least you are rational about it. Refreshing to see in a world full of irrational people.
