    Fantastic CNY Lion Dance!
The multitude of colorful lions are spectacular!
NYC had its huge CNY parade in the original Manhattan Chinatown on Feb. 25, 2024.
The temperature was warmer than previous years, with no precipitation, it was a tremendous turnout.
It was estimated 3/4 million spectators and parade marchers were present in NYC’s largest Chinatown (Manhattan).
Unfortunately, actual fireworks have been illegal in NY for many years.
Only noisemakers and colorful confetti poppers are allowed along the parade route.
The NYC Manhattan Chinatown parade route was approximately 2 miles long, with a large, special black & gold dragon made recently in China for the 2024 CNY parade.
It was great fun, with delicious food, for the many that attended.
    Happy Year of the Dragon!

Good to hear that NYC had a wonderful parade. Sounds like it was an elaborate celebration over there. Very impressed by the size of NY Chinatown. Fireworks and firecrackers have often been around in Boston. For clarification, this was a separate event from the actual CNY. Overall the CNY is always a joyous and happy occasion, regardless of where we are.

Woof Pack Firecrackers! Spectacular event. What's interesting is at least one lion, the black one, has two fangs at the top of it's mouth. Is there any significance to that or simply artistic license?

There are many lion head designs out there.
