Must one use the OTG? Couldn't you just hook it up to a PC USB port? Also, not sure if I'd trash a camera just to harvest the oscillator, but it's a pretty cool hack.

Long time ago, I made a laser communicator where the microphone modulates a laser beam and is picked up by light sensitive transistors, 7 to be exact.
I made two so that there could be two way communication.
Now I want to make the circuit again, but I cannot find the DIY kit. Turns out the US government shut down the entire company because the laser light communication could not be intercepted because the laserbeam was also encrypted.
Could you design a circuit like this one? It would be very cool and useful.

selam. usta kameralar 5 voltta yanıyor tahminim. 2 tane denedim ilk açtığımda sorun yok. 2-3 gün sonra masa kamerası yapacaktım. taktım 2 side çalışmaz durumda bilgisayar donanımı görüyor fakat nedense görüntü vermiyor. 3.3 veya 3.7 volt olablirmi bu kamera beslemeleri ?

0:52 вообще-то там часто не 5 вольт питание, а 3.3 вольта

Большинство встроенных камер в ноутбуках 3.3В. И при таком подключении сделают пых.
Внимательно пересмотри.
@@666nalbe, ну очень внимательно пересмотрел, таки ничего не поменялось, камеру от ноута подключают напрямую, именно это увидят пользователи и тупо повторят, не вникая в ньюансы, что полярность может быть иная, что питание может быть не 5В, а 3.3В. И с вайфай модулем аналогично, двух диодов может и хватить, но и модули бывают от 5В до 1.8В.
@@i-N0body Да нет же, он там через два диода плюс пропустил, на каждом диоде падает напряжение (около 0.7В). Получается 5В - 2*0.7В = 3.6 или типа того.
@@666nalbeон не пропустил через два диода питая вебку. Да и его "схемы" подключения показывают питание 5V (причем две схемы как минимум)
И комментаторы выше тоже пишут, о том, что спалили свои вебки подключив к 5 вольтам.
@@ulinkot Теперь пришлось мне пересматривать. Действительно, диоды появляются лишь на пятой минуте. И да, вы правы, вебку питает от 5в.
Камера питается от 3,3 вольт. Нужно 5 вольт от USB понижать до 3,3 вольт.
Автор показывает очередные вредные советы запитав вебку от 5 вольт😅.
