The backseat on this ride is absolutely amazing. Backseat or bust. You whip over the top of the first drop like a bat out of hell. The mid brake run drop is also a real airtime gut wrenching experience from the back. I'm sure the front feels smooth and amazing. But I always go back seat on this baby.

I like how GCI shows so much respect for each Coaster they rehab. They never are just hellbent on changing a ride completely, instead they want to keep its signature elements and just make it enjoyable. They could have packed so much airtime into this Coaster but they chose (along with the owners) to instead preserve a classic Coaster that is legendary enough not to need a total makeover. I feel like RMC is much to quick to modernize and invert a Coaster. Although I do think they did well in showing respect for twisted timbers and Texas Giant,
GhostRider was the final roller coaster that was created by the Knott family n its nice to see that its being restored. Summer was fun but I'm glad it's finally over. No more waiting in line for 2 hours. It was even worse at night, cause everybody wanted to go on the ride at the last minute lol.

I like RMC Topper Track this was done by CGI probably at least With RMC topper track they can now go Upside Down Outlaw Run,,,,wild fire and lightning rod that beats any Giga coasters
@@kevinthompson6986 We were able to make wooden coasters go upside down since the late '90s/early 2000s, before RMC started doing it, granted it was a steel loop connected to a wooden coaster, but still.
This being my home park, I'm really exited to ride! I loved the old Ghost Rider, and I hope it delivers more air time, considering the old one didn't. It looks really fun, though, and I'm exited to ride on Wednesday

If you want to see a cool wooden roller coaster then I recommend "Twister" at Magic Springs! I may be a little rough but FAST! REALLY REALLY FAST! Because I rode it yesterday! Does not feel like 52 or 53 mph! It feels like 100 mph going down hill! I EXPERIENCED THE COASTER! My rating from 1 to 10: 10/10!
go on this ride at night if you can, i think its a lot better at night. we were in line for 2 hours, and during that time the sun set and the moon was coming out and all the lights on the ride were on
My only complaint is that they made some of the awesome CCI style airtime hills more gradual in the second half. Otherwise its a an improvement over how it was in 2014 etc.
This may be an unpopular opinion but I preferred it before. Yes, it is much much smoother, but what made Ghostrider so great was that reckless and sometimes painful way that it threw the rider all over. Now it's a pleasant experience but not as thrilling.

A lot of wood had to be replaced, because riders, employees, and inspectors saw and felt the wood slightly bending.

Wow I forgot how long this coaster's run time is. It warms my heart to see old coasters returned to former glory like this, GCI did a stellar job.

THE BEAST at Kings Island is the greatest wooden coaster ever made IMO but this one looks awsome and would be alot of fun to ride.
