First of all, I am a licensed psychologist. Second of all, we are taught very early in our education about how to spot someone who is not being truthful. Watch as Lindell constantly tilts his head back, and sticks his tongue in the corner of his mouth. Classic signs of lying. Never mind the stuttering and stammering. Wow. And then there is the rapid blinking of his eyes. I wouldn't trust anything, professionally, that this man says, period.
I know that mental health professionals aren't allowed to diagnose without a personal consult, but anyone with a DSM-V handy could probably hand out a good half-dozen well-fitting diagnoses with this crackhead (and given that he's supposedly no longer on the pipe, we can't even chalk up his paranoia to the coke). He's out of his mind. The only question is how much of this does he truly believe, and how much of this is because he's pot-committed and doubling down on all these deranged conspiracies.

i just want to get the word out about a certain arcane aspect of medicine, in the hopes that it can perhaps cool the argumentative levels on this subject on at least a tiny corner of the internet, which seem to me to be getting to a high temperature, just like global warming! hehe
in some medications doctors will use a very tiny dose of something that at a larger dose can be fatal or have terrible side effects
it is a strange coincidence that another example of this in the real world, happens to also be a cardiac glycoside, just like Oleandrin
that real world example is Digoxin, a substance derived from the Foxglove plant
every day, thousands, perhaps even millions of heart failure patients consume Digoxin (in an admixture with other chemicals) in order to manage their heart arrythmias
i first learned of this when i was a courier going to the Veteran's Administration to pickup medications for two veterans that I personally knew who had been prescribed Digoxin by their heart doctors
while there I often chatted with other veterans... and over a period of around a decade or so ended up meeting at least a hundred others who also were taking Digoxin... I mathematically and statistically know that if my small sample of vets that I met numbered around a hundred in a small city, that there must be thousands or millions of them when one scales up to the size of the United States or the world
and this is what is not well known by the public... that some medications contain very small trace amounts of a substance, that at a microdose can be beneficial, but at a large dose can be fatal!
thus it is theoretically possible that this Oleandrin business will not crash and burn or turn into a terrible scandal, but turn into a viable therapeutic... its a "time will tell" sort of thing i think
having said all this, i do not disagree with Anderson Cooper that there was some irresponsibility on display here... if Oleandrin is ultimately not a dead end, if there is a viable microdose where it is effective and non-harmful, finding the correct "combination" is a time consuming and pain-staking process that probably should be done first before making a public clamour about it hehe
by "combination" i mean discovering just what microdose is safe (if any is safe at all, perhaps no dose is safe with this substance), and also, what synergistic chemicals it could or should be paired with to enhance any therapeutic effects it may have or to mute some danger it may have
the early results from the military lab that discounted it as a non-viable path may end up being true in the end... it depends how exhaustive they were in their search and their trials... sometimes only a few combinations are tried and then the whole process is abandoned prematurely... a failure that i suppose one could chalk up to a lack of patience and endurance... and in those situations a more thorough peer-reviewed vetting ends up finding that after all there may be some benefit that was overlooked
i believe such failures are rare, but not unheard of either
i am not saying that will turn out to be the case for this substance, i have no idea what will happen in the future lol
i am just saying that if the lab testing this is not composed of snake oil salesmen and liars, that possibly something beneficial will come out of their trials
