I enjoy watching this generation discovering the smooth, beautifully crafted melodies I grew up with. Your smile seemed to get broader as you were listening. Glad your enjoying and appreciating these talented artists and their music. It still puts a smile on my face 40 years later. Ambrosia (Biggest Part Of Me or How Much I Feel), Little River Band (Reminiscing original version & John Farnham's Swing Jazz interpretation are both fantastic, Cool Change etc), Hall & Oats (Sara Smile, She's Gone etc) there's so many groups that have that blue eyed soul. You can't go past Gary Moore's (Still Got The Blues (Live)) & Jeff Healey's (While My Guitar Gently Weeps) if your looking for guitar solo's. As for today's artists, there's so many in my neck of the woods that are worth listening too, a few you might want to checkout - Aaradhna (Brown Girl, Forever Love) Teeks (If Only, Never Be Apart) Sons Of Zion ft Aaradhna (Is That Enough) Stan Walker (Thankyou, Tennessee Whiskey, Choose ft Hamo Dell, Bigger) Six60 (Lost - feat Auckland Philharmonic Orchestra - unfortunately the live version is no longer available, Closer lyric video, Forever, Don't Forget Your Roots, White Line) L.A.B (In The Air at Roundhead Studios, Fashion Dread at Roundhead Studio) Vince Harders collabs/mashups. Old school - Scribe (Not Many, Dreamin) Che Fu (Fade Away) Nesian Mystik (Sun Goes Down, It's On) Supergroove (Sitting Inside My Head, Can't Get Enough) Crowded House (Don't Dream It's Over) Split Enz (Message To My Girl) There maybe a wee bit of bias on my part but that shouldn't detract from their obvious talent. They deserve to be heard beyond our borders. We have a different vibe in this part of the world, a throwback to the past. Often referred too as Poly Funk but encompasses so much more. A blend of Soul, RnB, Blues, Funk, Hip Hop, Reggae, Jazz, Rock or Gospel wrapped in Island vibes. Loved the reaction, stay safe.
My goodness, young lady. This is my first time seeing one of your reactions, and I'm so impressed by you. Not only do you feel the music so passionately, but you articulate your experience with a maturity that belies your young age. ❤ Keep up the good work. I'm your latest subscriber. 😉
I'm a thirty year full time musician. Most reactors don't seem to get a whole lot about music. You do. You're spot on in your comments about different elements of the song, musicians and how it hits the feels. You are wiser than your years. You got my sub, princess. - Peace and keep on keepin' on.
I've been an off-and-on musician going on 30 years, bass guitar in particular, and have a considerable amount of notches in my belt from small-to-large gigs. Lemme tell you, that bridge ("Now that I've put it all together) is among the best bridges ever composed. Nice change-up, kinda jazzy, kinda Bee Gees, and a beautiful segue back to the rockin' chorus. Great song construction fer sure!
I always make sure i give you a like these groups was the shit back in the day growing up all these songs being sampled my children cant believe that there generation like it i been playing these songs for years there are a lot more songs to go dont stop keep going
Thank you sister, great reaction. Great band, song and comments. You can tell there are no studio musicians covering for these guys on their recordings. What you hear is what you get. Another song by Player I like is "This Time I'm In It For Love". I know that you would also like Gino Vanelli "Brother to Brother. It is a bit on the jazzy side not commercial, but good stuff. Thanks again
Quay , your reactions are the best , , i know ive said this before but ill say it again theyre spot on , and the way you articulate / communicate your thoughts i truly admire , its so nice to see someone as young as you recognize the talent that was before your time , keep up what your doing i love listening to you and your insights !!!
I loved watching this with you. I agree, sister. Nowadays everybody tries to be so cool and hard. It's good to see someone just say" baby I was wrong. I want you back. " God bless and keep rockin..Stay away from that Buckcherry. That one made your cheeks red. ✌️❤️🤣
Yup, that's Ron Moss. I've been a gigging bassist going on 30 years, so when my (beautiful and rather stoic) cousin divulged her obsession with Ron Moss I could only feel envy: killer good looks, serious singing and bass-playing skills, AND he's a professional actor for a top-rated soap opera. How my cousin drops her wall whenever he appears is astonishing!
You saw a piece of this song in the first TRANSFORMERS movie. In the scene where the main character (Sam) was about to let Megan Fox go because the car (Bumblebee) didn't start. So, when she was about to leave the car (bumblebee) started and put this song to play. That's where you heard it from.
Quay, I am not surprise you have heard of this. Many good songs where use in commercials, movies, and other media. May I suggest a song from Louis Armstrong and the title of the song is "What a Wonderful World." Watch the color version of him singing. I love this guy and he is well known for his trumpet playing. He does not play his instrument in this song just just his personality and the words. I know you will like seeing this. Take care and I am so glad that the younger generations are discovering this great vast of talent of the past.
I see you said you like the guitar...? If you wanna hear one of the best to ever do it, plus with some feeling and some soulful blues, then you must do "Since I've Been Loving You" Live by Led Zeppelin. One of the most incredible guitar solos by a Legendary Master the Great Jimi Page. Peace and Happy Holidays young Sista
Don't know if you have ever watched old soap opera's before. But the guy at the end, in the "orange" shirt use to play Ridge Forrester on the *"Bold And The Beautiful"* soap opera...
If you likes this song then you would also love the band Foreigner and their song called “Waiting for a girl like you”. Lead singer Lou Gramm. His voice is considered to be one of Rocks all time vocalist. He’s extremely talented. The band did song & video with a black choir singing back up called “I want to know what love is “. If you’ve never heard either song you’re missing out big time!. Love your reactions & stay blessed!
Have you ever got into any reactions for Indie Arie, she is an amazing vocalist who plays guitar and she has an amazing voice. I think that you could get an amazing reaction from her
You're missing the context. He is saying that he misses her so much that he's willing to take the blame, even though it may not have been his fault. Thats how much he loves her. You should ask your older viewers what the meanings and contexts are. We spent decades with the music and the artists. Just ask us, we'll be more than happy to fill in the blanks and/or frame it correctly.
Well now you told me somebody in the comments always gone say exactly what the song is talking about I know I can’t understand every song...so I know somebody who’s a fan will fill me in.

Just wanted to add that the lead singer & guitarist is Peter Beckett, he killed it in this song.
Awesome reaction. Please remember that this is a full band. Full band with live musicians. No computer.

The Bass guitar in this song is fire, the harmonies are crazy and beautiful flow of the drums
Very mature analysis of a truly great song . Thank you. Subscribed.

It was in a Swiffer Sweeper commercial
Listen to fooled around and fell in love. Mickey Thomas of elvin bishop. Great vocals
The sound was more then likely pre-recorded before the video was made. No autotune but I doubt a live performance would be this perfect.
Love your reactions! Beautiful smile Quay!
Thank you 🙂
Very great reaction you are beautiful woman.
Have you ever got into any reactions for Indie Arie, she is an amazing vocalist who plays guitar and she has an amazing voice. I think that you could get an amazing reaction from her

I don't think they are 'admitting their wrong'. I think they are giving in and saying that if it gets her back, she can blame everything on him.
