@irishpogi Diandra made the change after bowling in Japan during the Women's DHC Tournament in November. Although she did not do very well during the tournament, she watched a top Japanese women bowler with a 4 step approach who generated a great amount of power and that encouraged her to try it out and practice it enough to be ready for South Africa. And although Ron Hoppe is an excellent coach he did not make that recommendation for Diandra, it was all her.
Diandra, why the change? Was it suggested by Ron Hoppe? Years ago, he made a suggestion to John Handegard to change from a five step to a four and he became a household name on the senior tour!
i always ponder why people say to me "take four steps" "use the four step approach". maybe its cause im like norm duke and line up almost off the step.

Diandra u look awesome whether u use 4 or 5 steps.
always wish I could do the 4 step approach, but Ive always had a 6 step... just could never get the timing right.
Im curious too. The only one I noticed (more like remember lol) who had a 4-step was Junko Harigaya.
On the contrary. Sean Rash, Liz Johnson, Daniel McCuien, also have four steps in their approach.
Wow you are one of very few that i could actually feel the rithem of the four step approach .. ps you also have beautiful legs ....❤
nice late timing approach, remind me of Robert Smith :)
Great form and great legs
I've been working on the timing and the move done at :35 but I just can't get it down. Can we get a slow motion view of :35 to :36 :)
