When KOSing as novus make sure your hp is at 49% and doesnt go above that because you’re both immune to ailements and are at max rage. Also make sure you get hit by someone so your “first rage” is on. To make sure you get your first rage DO NOT have you rage on. It will automatically turn on. If you want to do even more damage for 1-2 hits quickly turn on your rage and hit the target, this doubles your rage. Make sure when you get hit that you use your cloud breath to heal up to 49% again.

It is a acronym meaning Kill On Sight
It's not a word exclusive to this game. Any game where a player can kill another player "KOS" meaning "Kill on Sight" can occur.
