Money never mattered it was a tool to drive innovation. When you find better tools you move on. I'd argue a better use of our time effort n energy is collectively raising the standards of life for all of us not just a select few at the top.
While I agree idealistically, money (or what it really stands for, power) is a powerful motivator for individuals. I'd love to see humans collectively improve their standard of living, it's the how that I'm personally stumped on.
You can't claim to be an "advanced society " and still have wars, people dying of famine, homelessness, money , archaic power lines running everywhere lol like give me a break not even tier 1.
Hahaha, yeah, depends on the metric you're measuring. Technologically we're certainly more advanced than in the renaissance period, but we are lacking in many areas as well.
