Not sure how long you've been playing but they have done what they call "free rentals" of premium ships in the past. I've had the opportunity in the past to play Prinz Eugen and Massachusetts for 3 days without buying either of them. If I'm not mistaken there was a discounted purchase price during the rental period as well. I do agree that they need to do more of that as I haven't been offered a free rental in quite some time (or I don't remember getting an offer for one).
Get rid of plane spotting and buff the AA and make 5.8 the minimum range on any ship for aa if your going to keep adding in hybrids with magical planes. Now we have to deal with light cruisers heavy cruisers DDs and BBs all dumping planes every 30 to 60 seconds. It’s so fun to have my Minotaur get hit with 5 squadrons of planes from hybrids in the first 2 minutes of the match because of a sub I can’t do anything about because I don’t get asw planes for balance or something. Love the balance of top tier that y’all have utterly ruined in randoms. 👍 great job
You realize if they only did ships that existed there would be basically be a US Tech tree, a Japanese Tech tree and a British tech tree in the game right? And even those lines would be missing several key components that are in game (for example no tier 10 American BB, no British BBs past tier 7, no Japanese BBs at tier 8 and 9) The German French and Italian tech trees would all peter out around tier 7-8 and would be severely underdeveloped and there wouldn't be a Russian tech tree at all. And aside from US, British and Japanese ships there wouldn't be hardly any premiums. They'd have run out of ships 5 years ago if they only made "real" ships and nobody would be playing at all. If you want an advance simulator as historically accurate as possible this is NOT the game for you. If you want a fairly interesting What if? arcade shooter that can admittedly be frustrating at times then you are in the right place.
