I have a few spy gadget videos for you.
Let’s start with The World’s Most Secure Pen drive……..and most dangerous...Ok, Ok, maybe it’s not the safest pen drive in the world, but it would look good in a spy movie.
Shake the Future my best guess would be it works by exploding a capacitor if not deactivated in a said amount of time

I've heard of plug n play, but plug n boom? You had to have circumvented a safety feature in order for the gadget to self-destruct with that much force. Wow! Yes, I'd like to see how you did that, please.

when i saw your video, i got the best idea ever: i made a pen drive similar to yours but it explodes via an electric detonator and some flash powder (i'm kind of a maniac) so if someone really fucks me up, goodbye fingers =)))))

Am I the only one who sees it's being plugged in upside down? In the very first shot, he shows the squiggly line is the bottom. Then he plugs it safely into the USB port upside down? What?

Aes-256 with a long complicated key is enough security is literally impossible for all government or resources can do to crack it, for the rest of your life. Not much more you need. This is cool though

Well, maybe the deactivation can be done by pushing somewhere? Maybe a pencil in the slit? But can you tell if it its deactivated when not plugged in? Well and the blowing up must be somekind of firecracker, lit by an ekectric discharge...

**Attempt to figure out how it works:**
* The computer has to send certain data to it?
* A Magnet is near the computer's usb port that triggers a magnetic reed switch to disarm?
* The drive can be inserted upside down and that disarms it?
It sounds cool, but it's much more simple than that.
It's not the same drive, this is cap. There's a firecracker in the "drive" case and the low voltage lights it and boom.

Can I guess what's inside of it? I think it's a normal USB drive were the power, data +, - and ground is switchable with some sort of hidden switch. If it is not switch to right position the USB port will drive the 5 volts to the explosive device instead.

Please tell me after 5 years you've finally made the video explaining it! Clearly there's some sort of pyrotechnics charge that gets beaten up by a nichrome wire using the power line of the usb

Your description is wrong. you don't actually show us how to make it.
Jesus that's a bit too much for a pen drive don't you think? I was expecting a little bang or a puff of smoke but instead I got a WW IV era fusion blast or so. It's great that you didn't teach us how to do this one (even tough now that I think about it the circuit is probably quite simple and almost anyone could make it with proper materials)
That's why I was asking if people want to see how it works. I am not 100% sure if I want to do it. Let's see what others have to say. If I'll do it, there will be lots of WARNING SIGNS telling people that it's a stupid idea.

It's irresponsible! it may cause permanent damage to someone's hand. The person plugging the pendrive might be trying to find out who is the actual owner to return it. You may also hurt yourself if you forget to disarm the explosive a day. It would be safer if the pendrive self-melted with a small short-circuit or auto-erased the data when it was plugged to a computer with the "secret feature" turned on.

Okay, so this is cool and all, but I see one major problem with you releasing on how it is made. If you release this information there can be people who go out make a few of these and "leave" it somewhere on purpose so someone can take it and put it in their computer possibly harming them or their hardware. Now I know you should never just plug a random Thumb drive into your computer because it could be holding malware of some sort but still there are dumb people out there. So I highly advise you not to release it...
