i wish you could do a more close up look so we really see how it sits on the face..most utubers these days use filters even when filimng( u dont) but the camera is tooo far away to see how it sits on the skin
Hello! Nice video and very informative. I have the studio fix in NC45 and have been matched to the MAC Mineralise Skin Finish in shade dark but I just don't think the dark sits well with me... I look orange..... any suggestions? Of course I can try a shade lighter.. but I was skin matched to dark with an artist application at a counter, which no longer exists due to COVID. Any suggestions? Thank you!
@@juliannahenricus Thanks so much! I did get told to try this shade instead but I really don't think I like these powders. They just don't sit well on me and have a very red undertone and I have a strong yellow undertone. I also found this powder broke me out a bit so I have returned! I just love the Studio Fix Powder Plus too much :)
@@juliannahenricus Yes definitely!! I also noticed Mineralise may look nice and flawless in the light but definitely does not hold up either or have any staying power compared to Studio Fix PP. The 19 shades of mineralise compared to the 44 shades of Studio Fix PP is a no brainer :)
I was exactly in the same position. NC45 is my match and dark was matched to me in the msf but I looked so orange so I got the medium tan and it works! On a "no makeup makeup" day (which is everyday for me), I set my under-eye with medium tan and tap into dark and medium tan for allover the face.

The MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Natural definitely looks smoother and better to me. The shade looks to be a perfect match, too.

How to select the shade of mineralize skin finish , I am medium neutral skin tone. Kindly suggest.
I would suggest to go to a MAC store for that and try the shade before buying.
I have acne marks .. i want to hide them .. which one would be better mineral or studio fix ?

Use a concealer or a color corrector to cover the marks, then add the foundation.

I also use NC 45 when I am a bit tan and use I use medium tan mineralise skin finish. Try medium deep MSF.

The mineralize powder has almost no color...its just to set the foundation and not making it caky ....
