In this new fiction series, we explore the social life of Toyosi, a 30-something Nigerian in the diaspora. In this episode, she is trying to enter a mindset that is focused on healing due to a previous heartbreak. However, her friends and family members have other plans.
I started this series to highlight the unique, but common, experiences single women have when it comes to pressures of marriage and meeting societal standards. This story isn't unique, but it's still one worth telling and exploring.
