I just saw Vocal Point on 6/25/10 in Nauvoo and they were amazing! They are soooo much better live. I wish that they would have been able to sing this song, but they didn't. Only 3 of 9 are music majors! Wow! This gives me something to look forward to auditioning for at BYU.
Considering that the soloist on this song is their vocal percussionist I think he did a great job!

I think that the lead singer was a little flat in parts, but it's still awesome how much this sounds like the actual song.

@boone4719 its probably the video,most of these arent very good recordings with the sound, but if you hear them live or on a cd youll see its just like you said, locked right in!

I've actually done a fair bit of research on the Mormon faith and know that the founding elders, including Brigham Young, had numerous wives. Are you suggesting that the Mormon Faith has gotten away from the inspired teachings of President Brigham Young?
@TheSHlRTS Please, do yourself some good and listen to Rockapella, they are the group that pioneered this type of music. They are what you should be listening too. Please, just do it.
I like this song, but their tuning just sounds off throughout the whole song; which is weird, because they normally lock-in their chords...

@bamacoop The Mormon church also believes in modern day revelation. So what the current prophet teaches is accepted as doctrine over older teachings if it changes. In 1890, the current president of the church, Wilford Woodruff, issued the "Manifesto", banning the practice of polygamy from the Mormon church.That teaching stands today. Those who practice polygamy today are ex-communicated and are not members of the modern LDS church. And it was Joseph Smith who instated the practice of polygamy =)
