It's revealed that she killed Callum and she is in a place to tell the police why he went missing. In the end the admission guy is revealed to be the police officer that she is talking to.
And maybe she has kinda of mental sickness and hallucinations?

just a theory-
usually when someone dies, in some cases, people who were close to them tend to hallucinate after the death of their loved ones. they either have dreams and/or in really big cases, they actually hallucinate and they believe that whoever died is still alive and there with them. it’s kind of like schizophrenia, but it’s a bit different. it’s a process of grief and unfortunately, sometimes the grief can last for a long time. i looked it up and it’s called “bereavement hallucination.” from what i think, it’s possible that the main character- lorraine- is experiencing that and is going back to where callum died. there was blood found in the car with the teddy bear (and the man did tell her to look for the last place the teddy bear was). it’s most likely because there was a car crash and callum did not survive. it’s very possible that the man who told her was also a hallucination, including the lady on the intercom. she’s remembering what the park was like before, and then it’s crossing over to what the park is now. the park might have closed down after the death of callum (since most parks and other places do that after the death of a customer or an employee). i think that the monsters are really a warped and more scarier version of the people, rides, and etc of who could have been involved in the death of callum. they could have been there during an accident, maybe they had killed callum and lorraine either knew or had a gut feeling, who knows. the grief she’s experiencing is so bad that it’s actually controlling her into coming back to where it all began.
Yep, when my uncle died it was really hard for me, we where very close, I kept seeing him for a awhile until I finally excepted he was dead and moved on
Huh, there's a word for that. Friends of mine died years ago and some still visit me in my dreams- but those are real because I know they're still with me. But I often daydream a lot, they didn't die and they'll come and tell us they made it and it's ok- that I know isn't real- didn't know there was a word for it
I've experienced that with my cats. Sometimes, I'll see them playing with their siblings but when I turn to look, it's all gone.

@@pillowmoment so to sum it up after losing her husband at this same amusement park, an employee who works inside a chipmunk suit kills several children and dismembers their bodies. Her son happened to be one of the victims. This is never confirmed tho so she convinces herself that she killed her son. So she constantly brings herself to this fantasy place inside her head where she relives it over and over.

When I was a kid and I went into the woods I would always give names to the things I saw on the trail such as ditches, tree stumps, etc. so that I could remember the way I came. Then, a few years ago I went back into the woods and I remembered everything I named on the trail when I was little. Just a little exercise you can do if you enter a big, unfamiliar place so that you can find your way back if you ever get lost.
I’ve always been good at remembering paths and things but, I once got lost in my grandparents woods an was sitting on a rock sobbing because I thought I was going to die then I heard a bush rustle when I looked back I could have sworn I was a bear of maybes big wolf an as it charged toward me I realized that it was my dog. An that’s why I don’t like forests!

This is how horror games should be, creepy and making you feel like something is behind you, using your fear. Not just popping spooky faces at you constantly along with loud noises.

But this game is also still reliant on jump scares.
I agree, though popping faces can still be scary if done right (such as in Outlast.)
but spoopy faces are funny too, especially when mark is playing it

While I myself would never resort to murder, Hänsel and Gretel may have taken place during the Great Famine and might've been a lesson on the sin of gluttony. During that time food was so scarce people often abandoned their own children, or even resorted to cannibalism. The point is, the fairy tale is actually pretty historically accurate.

My theory is that the car that crashed is actually the peoples car, Callum is dead and the mother has gone insane, she is hallucinating Callum and the creatures are people actually trying to help her. And her trying to find Mr. Bear is her trying to find and keep her sanity.

The swan wasn’t looking at the screen for long but if you pay close attention, it’s subtle, but you might notice that the head of the swan will occasionally shift to face the projections on the wall, making the end where the swan looks back at the player feel much more symbolic.
Love coming back to watch these old videos especially when the game is amazing as well.

This game is still one of the best horror games i've seen in YEARS. It seems so rather simple yet puts you on edge in every way. From the eerie ambience to the way it's written. Not to mention how the end of this game ends up being so twisted and hecked up. Basically this game being one huge forshadow, yet supple. Let's nt forget how good the voice acting and pretty much everything about this game is.

I'm going to take a shot in the dark and say the kid was dead all along, that he died at the park, and they closed it down since his death. The woman is just mentally unstable and somehow blames herself for her sons death and tries to go to the closed and abandoned park to "Find" him for her own closure.
