Great video on tree trimming. Some tree services prefer to prune even when they are asked to trim an oak tree. Trimming seems to be quicker with more efforts in the clean-up.

Hey my friend, do they require you to State Certified there to trim one of these Live Oaks? They do in Ca. Not even a homeowner is allowed to trim one or regular arborist. They get fined by the State.

I can’t find anyone pruning an oak as big and out of control as the one in my backyard. We can’t get large equipment in the backyard because we have a brick fence enclosing it. It is almost 85 years old we estimate and the trunk is about 70 inches in diameter actually more but I measured it about five feet from the ground. I do not know how tall but I estimate 70 ft tall. But the canopy is huge. It is gorgeous but becoming scary. Not sure what to do?

Tree Trimmer82 yep understand, my brother was a tree cutter for years taught us a lot on climbing and dropping big old growths properly. I have some videos where I fell large 40-60 footers with axe and saw always a rush when dropping trees man
