A tender Secret Santa gift to the family of a 10-year-old who unexpectedly died days ago

- Secret Santa is back and this Christmas is bigger than ever!
The EastIdahoNews.com team is busy helping a local man gift more than $500,000 this holiday season. A lot more. Secret Santa is a real person who wants to remain anonymous and hopes to help as many people as he can.
We will be surprising deserving people and families every day from now until Christmas with gifts unique to their circumstances.
Stacey and Travis Baker are amazing parents to their four young children. Their oldest son, Logan, was diagnosed with a heart condition called pulmonary hypertension and they moved their family to Rigby two years ago to be closer to family and give their son the cleanest air to breathe.
Travis has been working hard to support his family, pay for Logan's medications and allow Stacey to stay home to care for Logan and the other kids.
On Nov. 13, Stacey found Logan blue and not breathing well. He was rushed to EIRMC, but his poor little heart gave out. He died with his parents by his side. Logan was 10 years old.
Secret Santa heard about the Bakers and asked the East Idaho News elves to deliver a special gift to them during this tender time. Watch the video above to see the delivery.

Truly profound. My Mom lost her only son, my brother, 20 years ago. He was 19 years old & one of the most amazing people I’ve ever known. We miss him so much!
But I know without a doubt that we WILL see him again. It’s still incredibly difficult. Lord help this younguns family to cope & give them comfort. Rest In Peace sweet baby. God help them

Oh my heart. I personally know the pain. I lost my 32 yr old Son unexpectedly 8 years ago on the 8th. We were blessed he had life insurance. It is so expensive. I can tell you how much it means to this Family. You want to make sure your child's resting place is perfect. Like everything else, it's expensive. God Bless them. They only have God's footprints in their sand right now. I could not have made it to today without him carrying me!

My heart truly goes out to this family. I have a son who was diagnosed with ASD/VSD and pulmonary hypertension when he was an infant. We were fortunate, even with surgery at 3 months of age there was a 95% chance against him not making it. God has a plan for all of us, that we must faithfully follow. We must count our blessings, and be grateful for the wonderful things we are given, like our children, even though their time with us may be brief. I watched the outpouring of love from their community, which reinforced God’s presence in their lives. No matter how weighted the cross He always walks with us. God bless you and carry you through this time of loss.
For the mom to say, "The world is good" just blows my mind after suffering a tragedy like losing your son.

I know right. Why get upset over being cut off or having Starbucks mess up a order. These people are walking around and having the pain of losing their child. Makes daily problems we have mean nothing.
I used to have a very short fuse. Then I realized I have it pretty good and no longer let small things out of my control bother me.
God will welcome this young man with open arms.

I’m sorry for the loss of their son, and for him in his passing. Poor baby. I hope that a year later they have found some healing. It must take tremendous strength to deal with such a loss.

The fathers face was with deep appreciation as He saw those gifts, as was she. To have been by their sons side when he past, was very heartbreaking. The community that helps one another, is a good community. Wonderful! Bringing flowers was kind.

I just wanted to say I was a foreigner traveling in Slovenia in 2012 and everyone I encountered there from the Supermarket lady to the boy tending a parking lot at Bled were all very kind to me and friendly and quick with a smile. My wife and I lost our son unexpectedly almost 10 years to this date (1 week before Thanksgiving) and the shock and pain that these parents are going through can only be known by a parent that has experienced this same fate. This was very touching to me and if I could tell them one thing, the sun will come up again. The hole in their heart will one day fill up of the great memories that they had with their child. God bless these two.

I watch this video earlier, but could not think of any words to help this couple's loss. There is no word, no worldly item, and nothing can bring back time to spend with their son. Then it came to me that the community did the one thing for all. You may think Secret Santa gives things like flowers, a headstone, and a check. The truth is they gave three great loving hugs. Blessings to this family and the Idaho community for sharing this holiday season.
I’m a grown, married, navy vet, father of two girls and I think I’ve just cried more than I can remember. Just to see the look on that fathers face..him swallowing his emotions..Idk how y’all do it but please keep doing it✊🏿

The death of a child is life shattering. How heartwarming it is to see this community support and stand with this family as they grieve. This is what every community should strive to do.
They were trying hard to hold back the tear's, I lost my young husband 9 months ago in an accident, and my oldest child is 10, feeling this family's pain, it's so hard to talk and I see them going through the same pain I experience Everytime someone asks how we're doing,we don't want the tear's to be seen,so we bite our lip's, I will be keeping this family in my prayers as I cry with them in the pain we share, thanks for doing this for them,my 4 children and I went alone to pick out a headstone for their Daddy, someone had given us the fund's for it,we don't know who, thanks secret Santa for doing this for them.

My late nephew also had heart condition. He died when he was 2,5. He was a sweetest baby, almost never fussed, always smile and laugh. We always missed him.
I’m absolutely heartbroken for these parents. I couldn’t imagine not only losing a child but to have to lose them while you’re trying to save them...so sad
I lost my 14 year old little boy in April of this year and I know what pain these folks are enduring. I’m so happy your community did what they did for his head stone and for your family. God bless you all as I weep and type this message. I wish you all nothing but the best.
