Dear Simon - Thanks for the tips. I would add that for the heart stencil that provides ample quantities of tiny punched-out hearts, maybe do that to color cardstock. You mentioned ink blending to color those white hearts. For those of us w/ less time, not more time, on our hands, we would prefer the short cut of using colored paper before running the die through the machine. How's the unpacking going? Hope all is well. Stay safe and wear a mask!
Hey, Simon! You are so funny! I have never been called a dudette. 😆 I loved seeing all your ways to use stencils. I hadn’t thought of using one to to emboss. Looks tricky. I’ll have to try it. TFS.
I love the no masking stencil tip! I saw you do that with your cloud stencil (scene maker) and was 🤯. I use that tip all the time now! Thanks for all these great tips! 🤗🙏
I really like the stencil to emboss. I have been a coward about running my stencils through my Platinum. I have not bought embossing folders, either. 😁
TFS. On the stencil embossing with the foam layer, do you think a felt piece would work in place of the foam? Liked the last tip as to leaving the halo around the focal point and stenciling.
Another awesome video, Simon! My favorite was using stencils as an embossing folder...I never would have thought of that on my own! Thanks for your inspiration! I do have a question about paper trimmers: I currently have an older Tonic that has a slide blade & need to replace since it has become difficult to find blade refills. I see you use a guillotine type but one technique I use starts & stops cutting before the end of the card stock & I really don’t have room for 2 trimmers. Is there one you would recommend? Thanks for any help you or any of your subscribers can give me.
I like the last one, I would love to have that stencil. I need to ask a favor...I recently got a CROP-A-DILE and I guess I can't figure out how to use it, could you PLEASE make a video on how to use it? And make sure you get up close so I can see it. Thank you very much. ( I put one in and it fell out right away)
