I was a little bit responsible for Robot Jox. I was working at a game store in Chatsworth Ca. and a couple of writers came in asking about giant robots. I of course directed them to Battletech and explained the setting and gave brief description of mechs and mechwarriors. They bought few products and Robot Jox came out the next year.
The only content creator on RUclips of any platform I can stomach to watch for more than 30 mins let alone 3+ hours. Thanks Tex for the laughs, insight and wisdom you share on these streams. PS: No body would have believed that guy about the film Noir exit and having you actually speak to them until now that is. Another personal 'fave'... four 'level' pit trap with tungsten-titanium 'punji sticks'. Multiple Armories... multiple Mech Hangers and Repair Bays. Yeah, yeah... I hear you complaining... 'But Tex can't have all that!'... Right, sure. Go ahead and visit him UN-announced... tell me how far you get. I agree Tex... 45-70 lever action is just about perfect as is. Semi-auto and automatic rifles are fine, but a good 45-70 is ALWAYS a good choice.

As someone, who for some reason has gotten his voice complemented a lot over online tabletop RPGs. Yes it's weird, but it's also a compliment. And you do sound nice. You also come across as a nice fellow to hang out with and some people will go very far in that. I just think you're fun to listen to when I have the time.

357. Magnum was the first gun I ever shot. The recoil was a bit scary to 12 year old me. Still fun, though I would've liked something to shoot that the thing wouldn't just go straight through.

@Corwin Hyatt - Not quite. Mechs can lift 10% of their weight, according to the books. I think that's per arm, not quite sure. If it is 10% per arm, you'd need to run a 100 ton mech to lift a 20 tonner like a Stinger or Wasp. Now, a Protomech could likely be tossed around by a Charger. Heck, it could spiral toss an Elemental like a Quarterback. Heh. God I'd love to see that. :D
