I am a huge fan of the Korean drama "The Penthouse" (War In Life). The story is amazing and the cast is wonderful. I am particularly fond of the music.
As a tribute to the drama and the great work of the composers of the show, I have transcribed some of the music from "The Penthouse" (War In Life) for solo piano; a collection of new music from SEASON 2 in this video. I transcribed the music from watching a couple of scenes over and over again. (Since the music of SEASON 2 has not been officially released yet, I do not know the titles of the compositions nor the names of the composers.)
I hope you will enjoy listening (and perhaps playing) the music in my video as much as I have enjoyed transcribing, notating and recording it.

@@TheDreamerPiano I am very grateful that you mention my name in your video descriptions. Not all pianists do that. And sometimes people spell my last name wrong. Haha! My original plan was to do only one video - the one with the 5 pieces. But Penthouse is full of great music, so I just kept going. Hopefully there will be a lot of amazing new music in season 3.

I'm absolutely devastated with the last episode! Althought I'm glad they all got what they deserve, but I can't believe the scriptwriter won't let shim suryeon live in peace :( she deserves to be happy after losing her husband and kid :(
I'm definitely anticipating the new music in season 3. I'm still happy to listen to the current soundtracks. They're just toooo good! It's the first time I've ever felt this way with a drama soundtrack album! Too well donee!

omg actually i can't tell enough how mad i am at the writers right now, i got two breakdowns after watching the finale :D I can't accept what they did to logan, he better revive or something and bring justice,,, poor suryeon now totally lost everyone:( they deserved better
@@sweetelysiaa I know the feeling. It felt so good to watch Joo Dan-Tae and Cheon Seo-Jin go to prison, and I just knew it had to be too good to be true. But I never would have guessed that they would kill off Logan..., well, IF he is dead. Let us see. They have done this sort of thing before (Ro-Na, Su-Ryeon, Yoon-Hee), tricking us into thinking someone is dead. By the way, I think the old man who walks by Shim Su-Ryeon looks like Joo Dan-Tae in disguise. What do you think?

But they tricked us so many times that they may think it's gonna be exepted for him to come back, so i'm afraid they might just "let" him die:( I really hope he comes back but it'd be a bit impossible, I mean, even if he somehow survived that explosion (??), it woudl take a LOT of time to recover, but still let's hope for the best, if they don't bring him back i'm going to korea lol
@@sweetelysiaa I think the scene where Logan's car explodes is actually 5 or 6 episodes into Season 3. Remember that Season 1 and 2 also began with incidents that took place later in the drama: Min Seol-Ah falling from Hera Palace and Bae Ro-Na falling from the stairs. Maybe this is the same, so Logan is probably there in the beginning, but then this happens in episode 5 or 6. And in the end he might live. That is what they usually do. Haha! Or he becomes a ghost like Min Seol-Ah. (It was so great to see her at the trial!) We will have to wait and see :) I am excited!
