Region lock is the stupidest thing they could do. They need to have a hotfix in the works when season 7 arrives.

I have 50 ppl blocked, had none prior to this season...funny enough. My queue times are between 5min to 12min in prime time (after 6pm weekday) and 3min to 8min (weekend), most of my blocked ppl are big laggers, outside of that i have no issue with my queue
Meanwhile I don’t have anyone blocked and can’t find games for hours

There's multiple issues, everyone blocks people, region lock, coastal lock, maybe ranked effects it to some extent and the the system itself is just ass
Edit: I'm west coast so it's even more ass 5-10 minutes with maybe a couple requeues and rooms breaking
Dawg my queue where almost 30 min long so i dont think 5 min is that bad (ik it is i just miss the peak days of this game)

Do we REALLY know the blocking is that excessive? I feel like people are just assuming
@@ironcane it's not necessarily the biggest reason but it does effect it so some extent, especially in places like the west coast that has a smaller player base than the East.
@@Shenron404 here on SA on the more movement time takes about 15 min to more half hour, on other time is impossible
I quit when they got rid of vanish and ruined the game as solo q survivor imagine many did the same
After getting used to it no vanish honestly isn’t that bad. The game has a ton of other issues though. Like content and queues.
vanish isn't that bad tbh. there's just things way worse about the game and no content
@@agentclank8183 if you can gank as a team not having vanish isn’t a problem, but in solo q there is no way to stall for stm makes solo q feel like rng for the right team and that’s it
I haven’t stop playing, not sure about everyone else, but l still have a lot of skills l want that l still don’t have, but waiting in queue for like 15mins makes me want to stop playing
@@KakashiProductions26 that’s because the rates are ass this season. 1% percent five stars with no five star guarantee at the end of a multi.
Another implication of mass blocking: you queue up 2/8 with someone who has blocked 99.9% of all players. You will sit there at 2/8 with the poisoned queuer until you leave matchmaking.

Imagine you're in a 4/8 queue, and there's another 4/8 queue, THEY WILL NEVER MERGE into one lobby because X from queue 1 has Y from queue 2 blocked or vice versa
So much consequences just from getting blocked or blocking others
I sadly play this on a ps4 and I have been playing since ginyu force but I ain’t paying over 80 dollars for a few months
On Saturday afternoon, I was actually finding games within 5 minutes. Any other time it takes 10+.
I remember Ironcane said helldivers 2 was dead but even at it’s lowest point it still had more active players than breakers and now most of the player base is coming back and this game is still going a downward spiral
And when the lobby goes down after 8/8, the game would be trying to match you and whoever blocked you. 💀💀
This is the first season I’ve barely played and haven’t spent a cent on. It’s just too frustrating !
I can say that I tried this game in one of the closed playtests that they had. But because of how things were going at the time I had my doubts of buying it (I'm pretty much central time in Mexico, also I play on steam btw), so I waited for them to implement crossplay (season 5) and I bought it, so in my experience with season 5 and 6, queue times have drastically change within those 2 seasons, in season 5 I would wait AT MOST 2 - 3 minutes to get into a game (it pretty much didn't matter at what time of the day I played, even beyond midnight I was getting into a game in less than 8 minutes). But now regardless of the time, I wait basically 15 - 30 minutes in queue PER MATCH and this is queuing as SURVIVOR ONLY (because I personally enjoy playing more as a survivor) and I only have 20 people blocked.
I live on the coast and all I have to say is, get rid of coastal lock. What's the point of cross play if you're gonna end up limiting who we play with anyway? I've also been unlocking players and it has kinda helped but still, would be nice to play with more than the same like 12 people over and over again. Really wanna play a game with ya Iron.
Rank this season really sucked, they need to change how the points system works.
Southwest US, queue times range from like 7 to 40 minutes but I get on at a weird time. That's been recent though, I was getting pretty quick matches a few weeks ago. I doubt blocking matters that much, if the playerbase is small enough for that to really matter then the game is in an incredible amount of trouble.
I think they should add a option to play with bots like for honor so i can play
The issue with ques is that you can be sitting there for hours waiting for a match just for the match to “fail to connect room members” or for the raider to get disconnected anyway
I play from Italy and its really hard to find matches thats why i dont play enough even if i like a lot this game. I have to improve my gameplay and skills but uts really hard to find games😂

The season is dry in content, region lock exist, people keep blocking each others, and ranked also try to match people based on rank, so there are tons of people who can't match against each others.
10000 people having played the game once this season is not a good measure since all some people needed to do is play one match, it's not a good measure of the active players, the only one measure we have is the steamdb, but that doesn't help us figuring out what region players are active in, the one thing we do know is that the majority of the playerbase is japanese (obviously).
We do know that blocking is a problem because it's not just you blocking players, there might be someone who blocked someone in the queue you're currently in, or that have you blocked as well, it's a cascade effect.

They really dropped crossplay just to make it even worse with coast and region lock.... I dont really think they can save it at this point unless they fix it and make the game free to try and grab as many players as possible and not have issues with trying to find a game.
I'm waiting 30+ minutes pretty often during sat at 6pm or so. I haven't blocked anyone. I see 170+ people on steam. I'm in mountain time in the us. Game just seems dead sometimes
All these guys giving you grief over this blocking stuff is nuts. Block pre-mades. If they are in a pre made that is likely to be all they do. These people don't solo queue so whats the big downfall of not fighting a premade? Seems like you're just saving yourself your own time. I block pre mades. I'd rather wait another 5 mins than fight the next "match of all time"
There were a lot of good points in this video but I also think there's one that's unaccounated for- SBMM, or rather, LBMM. Level based matchmaking. I'm like level 130 in Breakers, and I always constantly find myself (when ranked isn't out) in lower level lobbies, ranging from like level 5 to 150. If some sort of SBMM is going on, then that could limit the number of players you're queued with even more, making the queue times even longer.
If they could only fix just que times or just ques that cause an error, I'd want dimps to fix the errors. It'd be great if they fix both but I'd rather wait 10 mins for a game everytime than have error after error
I took a bit of a break on the game once things got into ranked this season for the month of August. After coming back to the game I think que times for me vary from 2-10 minutes. I live in the west coast and have a small block list of about 15 people. Now that doesn't include people who have blocked me this season or in the past but other than having iffy matchmaking. (Why am I in S4 and still getting people in C1 as my teammates or when I que as Raider I deal with low leveled players.) When I do feel like playing the game I que in the afternoon before I go to work at around 1pm-4pm.
My lobby time is between 15min-1hr! This game is dying after 2nd anniversary released!It's 400 players per 24 hours a day! Not everyone play the game everyday IronCane.
When it comes to my queue times, i started when the 1st anni came around. I got the game the week before it was announced to be free for PSN owners. I couldnt play the game because of how bad my times were. At all. After cross plat i could get games in like 3, at worse up to 15 min. I will say that I noticed that there is definitely a difference depending on the time i go into matches. If it's like 11 at night it takes like 4 min longer if not more than if it was at like 7.
What sucked most about this season for me was I couldn’t play with my friend once this season dropped. During the start of ranked last season my buddy got into the game. We were able to play matches together and even when we lost it was still fun. (somehow he was playing the game better than my other solo queue teammates that were lvl 100+) The thing is though, I play on Xbox and he is on PS5. Idk if it’s a PlayStation issue or what but he hardly is able to find matches and any time we tried queueing it would stall out loading and then disconnect him thus closing our group. He finally quit playing the game when the game decided to BAN him for “disconnecting”. He called it quits after the 2nd ban. Iron can get stream sniped and have hackers in his game but they choose to only ban people who are just trying to play the game? Didn’t even know they banned people until my friend was
I started playing like a month ago and up until probably A5 rank as survivor queues were 3-10 minutes, at the very beginning they were pretty fast, but after they started getting longer, much longer like everyone else says and I am from Europe. I play during the day and night. It can get 2 games very fast, but after it suddenly can take 30 or 60 minutes. As a Raider I started playing against 350 Z5 players and pre mades and I started blocking some, because I just lose and not to stm, they just kill me. Cant really git good if I cant play the game lol. If I didnt know what I was getting into, I would just stop playing. Its like u are not supposed to match against such players anyway, so its not a problem because when I play as survivor I often get with people much lower or similar ranks and level against some 200+ z5 raider but it never happens to me or at least it stopped when I reached S rank as a survivor. And if somebody doesnt play solo, you cant queue up with 5 with somebody else who has 4 and so on and how does game matchmakes if one is 350 Z5, second 10 C5, third 100 A5 etc? Maybe game gets confused with who u are supposed to go with and against haha. Overall, u need 8 people for a match and thats a lot, there is a need a mode with less people, but that would take like work and effort to balance it haha.😅
This was the second time I ran into you the other day. I was cueing all day and I also barely have anyone blocked, but I definitely have blocked a few people. Cue times got a little worse for me after the last block I did. Don't know if that's coincidental or not though.
I understand why people block, being prio 7 and getting the best premade to ever exist sucks. They should do something about the coastal lock. Blocking should work the way it does due to the fact that PC cheaters and throwers also exist.
The worst feeling is when you really have the urge to run this game, then you get in and have to wait 10+ mins per game, then the games are ass on top of that. Nobody wants to play after that. Plus I’m assuming people leaving after the crazy survivor nerfs has something to do with it too.
Region lock literally did not serve any purpose. People still get disconnected and the match can completely crash so it didn't even made the servers more stable.
It took me two entire weeks of queuing every day for about an hour around prime time to even find one match for my raider match. It's tragic the state Breakers is in, and yet somehow, the game is populated but not in the US and Europe. Homeland goes crazy.
The quques started getting really bad in season 4. It hasn’t been the same since season 3. That season had less issues, while admittedly you found less players. You wouldn’t see 7/8 or disconnects so often.
in germany 4 minutes are average. When you try to play after 22 with a friend. Minimum 10min if you are lucky
I be waiting 8-10 minutes most of the time from 8-10 pm. Maybe the east coast quques faster west because it’s more populated?
this season a lot of my games would be upwards of 3m for queue times. unless half of the world has me blocked i think this season is just really dead and people are not interested in the 3 transphere season
I’ve had after two or three games, where the next queue would take more than 5 minutes and I would have to back out to get normal times.

I keep running into the same group that etm games ,and as soon as I blocked them it took 30 minutes to get into a game.
I got 200+ people blocked and get games within 5-10 mins
I think If you have Over like 100 People Blocked, you'll just end up being paired with Players you have Blocked. I had one guy named "TheBlackShyGuy" Blocked because he was a Massive troll and Feeder and I ended up getting him again when he was Blocked.
Not true a player has over 300 players blocked and still gets games with a vpn the screenshot are on online
Avg wait time for a match for me is like 10 minutes at almost any given time

Guess it's time to go on an unblocking spree.
I used to live in Minnesota about a year ago and the queue time was about 3 to 5 minutes. Now I live in Puerto Rico and I have to wait about 40 minutes just to play a single survivor game. That's also counting the fact that I may get disconnected from the server in which the timer resets once again. So if I'm patient, I'll play one raider match per day.

3-5 minutes on peak times, but with a lot and I seriously mean a lot of lobby/matchmaking problems
"Failed to connect to the lobby" after getting 8/8 and literally watching it reduce one by one until 1/8 and forcing me to literally the main menu
Or another one where one guy dodges the queue and the entire queue just gets cancelled and you're forced to queue again

It's no Wonder why Queues are taking so long- the Queues are working overtime to match you with someone that you havent blocked and are in the same region as you.
Of course theres also the amount of Players and time scheduling. Not everyone plays All Day- some people come on, do one match and call it a day.
So before they Remove Region Lock- they should tackle this Issue first either by removing Blocking (Watch the Comments try to Defend the Block)
Or just by adding Bots to some extent.
If you're angry about what i said and think theres a better way go ahead and Comment it, but me personally just remove the Block feature cause its just unnecessary, yeah you hate losing to Certain Types of Players but that's part of Gaming, figuring out Play styles and figuring out a Counter to it.
I highly disagree man, blocking is a very necessary feature which i feel i don't have to explain why.
Region lock and coast lock is WAY more of an issue especially when we don't even know how much of an impact blocking really has

To me personally- the Block feature seemed pointless cause i only run into these players Once (then again I'm not You that streams my Gameplay and other jerks come in to Beat you in the game)
My thinking was as a Whole, the player base as opposed to Personally. Obviously I agree that a Block button is important for People like you that wants to make content and not have it be ruined by a group of people or a single person Destroying the whole purpose of your video if that makes sense.
Again- personally I don't Use the Block Button cause I'll only see these players for like a day Max. For you, I understand why it's Crucial ^^
I'm using open NAT and I'm always getting games, I think it's an issue with your connection Iron Cane, also, get a LAN cable.

@@Pureshadow No, I'm actually making a valid point, I play on switch a underpowered console but I made sure to play in LAN with open NAT and on Cat 8 cables, and I've never encountered anything like this.

i waited over 1 hour and 30 minuets today and got my 2nd game and gave me a bad game with B's and 1 C rank players, but there is a 1 S rank and somehow we won against a silver fused zamasu (half-corrupted) S rank wand we won just the 2 of us and it was a close clutch game between his health bar and the super time machine and we won by the super time machine, and i'm happy we got the W in the end, but after over 1 hour and 30 minuets later for this? this game is so going down straight to hell along with the dev's team too, and the blocking people part of what ironcane said well i don't care... -_-
The queue times are crazy. I had the urge to play and had to wait 18min for one game had to leave and waited another 10min. That was just my first match of the day -_- and I’m in Cali.
iron it’s not just your own blocks that affects your queue, it’s everyone. your community follows a lot of what you say and you encouraged them to block players, i wonder how many blocks that might have added when you have 18800 subs and you’re the biggest breakers creator
Champ, if you think blocks are the main issues for queues that's very silly. It's possible it has an impact but not as much as region and coastal lock.
And I "encourage" blocking premades because raider ranked is stupid. They need to change how it works because unfortunately that is the best strategy, you really can't outplay a premade. They have to misplay
@@ironcane everyone knows region and coastal lock is terrible for the queues but the only thing we can do about that is try to get the devs to listen somehow which they probably won't. not make the queues worse by abusing the block system which is something we actually have an effect on.
you can't trust people to judge who is a premade and who isn't because the game doesn't tell you. obviously a couple premades you can tell if you've paid enough attention in the community and it's easier for you than your viewers because you have a whole chat telling you. but not everyone that premades is only in a premade, many solo queue as well
Straight up, I'm about to start blocking people that keep spamming that kiss emote in that menu. Tired of it.
The Raider is always the Host system, if it's connection is bad or failing, that will cause desynchronization, so that match going badly was your Fault, using a LAN connection fixes that.
