Jackie Stewart talks about Grand Prix Legends Game ENGLISH

- This is the raw footage of the Spanish Grand Prix interview that was done on a catalan TV network. This video is very long because it shows both camera angles. Unfortunately, the 'behind Jackie' angle is not mic'ed so your going to have to turn up the volume to hear anything. The camera also likes to wander...
Overall video is pretty poor and some of the other angle that does have a microphone is missing. It would be best if the original catalan broadcast was translated.
This is f*cking astonishing. The look on Rosberg's face...he wants to be in that car.
Stewart doing that "jump" with his hands as we see it on screen...incredible.
What an amazing tribute to the GPL designers, add-on track designer and driver of this lap.
Absolutely unreal.
Amazing he remembers every gear for every corner after all those years.
MyCosmicPath When you put your life on the line, you tend to remember that moments ;) Jackie is a survivor of 60/70ties era.
He actually has photographic memory
I'm still a GPL guy after all those years. GPL FOREVER
10 years later still a fan? 🙂
@@jeshkam You bet! I still have my installation too! No more time for on-line nor off-line racing (family's grown) but planning a come back as soon as the kids will be brought up enough.
It is GPL. There are various addons. This is the 1969 one. It is superb!
Good ol' days of GPL, wish I could get it running on this
PC @ 1920x1080 properly, I'd be playing it in a flash.
excellent footage. Thanks for uploading
5:59 So cool that he got a photo with Weird Al.
If Nico Rosberg paid attention he could have beaten Hamilton.
GPL tracks were the best. I wish there were more of them converted to some of the newer sims.
"Full Poower! Full Poower!"
dam i wanna see him play it!!! he would be the perfect physics tester for this game since he actually drove em =p
woulda been sweet if someone threw up some rfactor on there =p
@macwun77
Rfactor has some very quality mods of the same track and era of cars. I'm sure he would have been equally or even more impressed.
GPL Forever!
@Osierus If you've still got the original disks, Google the "Grand Prix Legends Preservation Society Installer Project".
There's still a lot of people out there racing GPL and this will deal with the majority of patches and fixes they've introduced for modern PCs.
I hope it helps! 8-)
very good indeed... looks great, rosberg looked well impressed :).......and so he should!
i would love to have this translated to english.
Is this really the Grand Prix Legends game? It didn't have cars with wings on them, because it is based on the 1967 season. Also I didn't see this car wich I suppose is stewart's matra. Actually I didn't see jackie stewart in the game.
Although I didn't play to much, because it ran poorly. First the sound was wrong. It often wasn't in sync with the rpm. And after that I couldn't even get it working that much. It ran in slow motion and the menu was painfully slow. (when I managed to start the it)
It is Grand prix Legends, with the 1969 season mod.
Steve, you must feel ten miles high! To bad it was footage from a replay as real time in-car shows the bouncing around more realistically.
hell yeah !
that
ok
no question
Nicholas top secret mission
nice
this one
0fc we love it :P
Was that Weird Al at 6:00?
Look Like Samsung Smart TV
@serbonbon iRacing is made by the creator of GPL ;) i started play again today xD
Really?
@@jeshkam Yeah, they made some NASCAR games I think, then IndyCar racing which them became iRacing. Not sure how much of is left of the original team from Papayrus.
Thanks for the reply on a 11 years old comment
