The 2 latest versions are worse than the previous. Like, stop changing the model just for the sake of changing. Make a new model if you want to experiment all the time. Fucks everything up.
I just got the vapor 14 AGs last week in the black color and absolutely love em so far! lockdown and support like you mentioned is absolutely incredible! Also this feels like the first Mercurial in years that offers a little bit more protection when you get stepped on as well.

Thankfully no bad injuries but I just switched to AG studs and my word I noticed a huge difference from day 1. HIGHLY recommend if you’re playing on AG!

Finally it was mentioned that Nike actually is shorter than Adidas boots in a size 44 for example. If I want to play in merc I will need 44,5 length wise but then I’m loosing tightness. 44 in Adidas is fine length wise and the smaller size gives me a closer fit. This is why I’m going Adidas.

That’s not a good reason to go with Puma, like at all. Their Ultra 1.1 and 1.3 are just as quality as the Mercs and X, all of them have something over each other and do your own research/debate what you value most in a boot. Brand popularity or mentioning is a poor way to eliminate options, it’s like saying Mizuno shouldn’t be an option at all because they aren’t marketed or mentioned quite as often as Nike or Adidas. No problem with choosing a brand over another but at least make it a valid reason

I’ve got the Messi Speedflow.1 and the X Speedflow +. I’d recommend going for the 45 1/3 for that vacuum-like sensation of the boot disappearing on your feet.
I'd say that in terms of pure traction, the Vapors are the best followed by the X Speedflow - and the Ultras are really aggressive as well. All 3 are impressive in that regard so no matte which boot you go for, you'll be a happy camper. The responsiveness on the X carbitex tooling is better however, making that my favourite outsole of the three. /Jay
It's an impossible choice! Unless you care about getting good value, in which case Puma is the way to go.
