This is a half an hour video arranging the same song together multiple times and it doesn't get boring for even a minute. Incredible.

Even though I barely understand the Kingdom Hearts storyline/ Xehanorts plan. This is still awesome and good visual storytelling. Combining all
the KH games into a single character storyline is amazing.
Xehanort is a pessimistic depressed old man who believes his ends justify his means. For him, nothing in the world is bright or beautiful (remember the quote about how to kids everything is bright and shining, so full of hope, xehnort has none of that) and he wants everyone to feel just as miserable and he completely disregards others as people (marluxia mentions this, saying "he does not care about us, to Xehanort we are nothing but empty husks").He wants to start a keyblade war because he thinks it would justify his world view and is also curious as what the result would be. He hoped the result would be in accordance to the book of prophesy (darkness preveils and light expires) as that would justify his view that the world is so terrible, hopeless and irredeemable that he could mentally justify reseting it. Xehanort also ruined himself, in bringing YX to the future, he permanently etched the pessimism of being an old man into his younger self, condemning himself to that fate; he was so pessimistic about the future that he willingly allowed this pessimism to seap even into his past (it also didn't help that YX is an arrogant edge lord who admires his older self). Xehanort gave up after seeing how much hope and optimism the younger generation of keyblade weilders had. Hopefully this cleared things up comment from 9 months ago.
In a way, this IS the full story. It seems really easy to digest KH by just looking at things in Xehanort’s perspective.
Came for the music, stayed for the cutscene compilation.
This is a masterpiece. I keep coming back because the level of skill in the editing and music is unreal…as Master Xehanort once said; “very well done,” my friend!

God the leitmotifs of kingdom Hearts sometimes hard carry the entire series.
I just couldn't help myself; I had to listen to it again. XD This really is insanely good. Honestly, I consider it your best medley yet. I hope you're proud of this one. Much like all your other outstanding creations, you absolutely deserve to be. Not only proud of this video, but also of just how much you've improved over the years. And considering how well your older works still hold up that says something even greater. Good job on this one. Really. I can tell just much was put into it, and it paid off 110%. As always, I'm happy to be along for the ride, and I can't wait to see where your passions lead you next!

I'm also glad to hear that, at least in some small part, I could motivate you along the way. Perhaps a bit self-interested, to be happy with that knowledge, but it does mean a lot to me to see you flourishing, nonetheless.

This person thought of EVERYTHING! They even used the Re:coded cutscene at 14:38 since it happened at that time and we just didn’t see it until then. The video editing in this is amazing, and the transitions from song to song are seamless. Great work, showing this to my friend once he’s done with the series.

I had this recommended to me about the time it came out, but I hadn't played Re:mind yet, so I put off watching it because I didn't want to get any music spoilers, and I am super glad I remembered to come back to it!

My only grip is you left out dark road the most important prequel to xehanort personal life of his loss of friends BUT with that said I can understand why you left it out since it doesn’t have 3d visuals
Ps I love how you made it look like kairi was fighting xehanort on the inside of his heart kinda like I love that you kinda gave her the main attraction on that honestly this is how KH3 should have been very will done this is the best tribute to the nort man

Wow, omg, the editing at 26:44 is so great, love that a lot, but honestly this entire video was so well done, worth watching every second
Ok, for starters, this is pretty incredible - the editing and structure of the video is godlike. The one thing I can't help but complain about is that up until Terra gets possessed, the entire Birth by Sleep section feels kind of dull in terms of music; Destati's a great song, but when you hear it over and over again with minimal variation it starts to get old.
That being said, there's one thing I really have to be impressed by - this section at 27:17. I never considered this for a reason as to why Kairi froze up in that scene, but I think that's now always going to be my headcanon. (Admittedly, I doubt that the writers planned that, and even if they did they could have just...not.) Major props.

Kind of surprised Darkness of the Unknown isn't in here anywhere. I mean it has just as much to do with Xeahnort as the rest of these songs. Regardless, this was a good video and I can tell you put a lot of love care and time into it. Great work!
This video is about every track that uses destati as a leitmotif
The closest to a destati related track with xemnas would be his phase 2 theme from kh2 using the guardando nel buio portion but it’s so faint you can closely hear it in the original kh2 version and not the 2.5 remix

Likewise, most of KH2 is filler that doesn’t have much to say on Xehanort, so it’s understandable that it isn’t represented as much as opposed to the games that (chronologically) build up to that game.

Well he wanted to see the results of the keyblade war in hopes it would justify his world view. He read the book of prophesy that stated that darkness would prevail and light would expire, if this truely occurred, it would justify his view that the world was irredeemable and terrible.

This is underrated. Amazing video, and great timing between transitions.
My one gripe (and i'm not even sure if this is correct) is that i'm pretty sure the part where Ventus is in a coma on the tree comes before the part where Xheanort splits Vens heart into two creating Vanitas.
Reason being that Ventus is from the past and ends up in a coma on the trip to the distant future.
It makes more sense to me because Xheanort seems suprised that Ventus can use a Keyblade,. If it was in the order you showed in the vid, I don't think that would have been the case.
Still though, awesome job, and would love to see more of these in the future.
It's not that Ventus could use a Keyblade that surprised him, but that he could use it after having his heart ripped in two. We already know it was because of the damage of Vanitas's creation that Xehanort brought Ventus to the islands to die, and it was there that the boy first made contact with Sora's newborn heart.

Unfortunately, this song was not among the tracks in the OST. So, as of now, it has no official title.
What played at 21:13? I’ve never heard that version before.
That track is "L'Eminenza Oscura II" from Dream Drop Distance. It plays during the second battle against Ansem in that game.
