- I took autumn leaves at Showa kinen Park at tokyo.
Ginkgo start changing color and it was a beautiful scenery.
Lenses were taken with Sigma 16mm f1.4.

It was really a great day, colorful of the leaves just perfect for the nice day. Love your cinematic style here. Have you tried with zeiss lens? I use same lens as yours before but in my latest 2 videos change to zeiss and for me it much more better. ( I use a6500).

I have never used Zeiss. But I think it ’s a good lens.
I think the place where the a6400 excels is that you can shoot with HLG(pp10).HLG is very beautiful color and easy to edit.

Just bumped into your video. The colors are gorgeous! For sure not the Sony colors that come straight out of the camera!?! Can you give some detail on the profile/settings and how you did the color grading or LUTs you used, if any? I'm considering to buy the 35F18 - I see in the description that you own it too ... have only the 18-135 kit and it would be my very first prime that I intend to use for photo, but primarily for video ... what's your opinion? would you recommend that lens for a beginner on an a6400?!?

The LUT is my original LUT.Also, I've made the orange color more saturated.
35F18 is a good choice for anyone using a6400! It was also the first lens I bought.
I think the other lens I would recommend is the sigma 16mm f/1.4. In this video, I use the 16mm f/1.4.

In grading I'm at the very beginning - actually, until now I only manage to totally ruin every shot when changing any color setting 🤦🏻♂️😂
But your results motivate me to not give up - seeing in your videos what is possible is really encouraging!
The Sigma trio is "on my list" too. But 18mm is what I (currently) use the least on my zoom lens - I find myself most often in the 24-35 range. And for video and when being out and about I think the Sony 35 might be the better choice for me (because of size and OSS) compared to the Sigma 30mm (recently was looking at the Viltrox 23mm F1.4, but still think I maybe should stick to the Sony). However, I'm a hobbyist and expect myself to buy some glas maybe every 10 years or so - so I'm having a hard time to choose wisely 🤔🤪

Yes, the Sony 35f18 might be just right for you, it's light and has OSS. I use it a lot too 😆
