- Messing around with the new unique wand The Oculus from the latest patch.
Unfortunately there no offensive stats on it.
Making it just a fun niche unique.
There is synergy with Raiment's stun effect and the extra evade charges make you blink everywhere randomly although you got no control over where you teleport to.

Just got this wand and its amazing. Constantly proc 30% reduction and non stop stun together with raiment. I got +19 teleport and 3 extra evade charge.
also in pvp people cant predict you either, so there's that as well.
At least the Boss was totally confused on what the hell was going on :)
Interesting part of this wand is that you constantly proc the 30% damage reduction modifier of Teleport, meaning you can always have it up as you have so many evades and the "attack reduces cooldown of evades" affix on the wand makes sure you always have more than enough evades.
people dont get it that whit this wand you can max your teleport skill to 20 and your CD goes down to like 1 second also.. thats fucking insane shock damage and combined with the rainment chest piece that pulls and stuns.. i dont know what blizzard is looking for this wand but im heavily quessing for shock bolt build for this wand teleporting and releasing bolts 100%....
@alphazero6571 couldn't you get 24 ranks? 15 from the upgraded wand, 4 from boots, and 5 from the skill? +24 is insane

@@RDiazLav teleport starts to be a viable main damage at this point i guess.. probably crazy.. someone is already theory crafting this for sure we just need to wait couple of days.. my best bet is that its homing shock bolts
@RDiazLav Don't forget +3 for all Defensive Skills on Amulet as well, so I think +27 LOL.
Great toy, now Sorcs don't have to fight only vs mobs but also vs their weapon which has its own will and port you randomly to Ibiza or Saint-Tropez. Recommended for Holidays.
I'm definitely not digging the random teleports part. I'm not even sure if the teleports weren't random if the unique would be usable due to the no dps stats come to think of it.
I can actually hear the BIP BIP sound of Road Runner when using that evade teleport :D
If the teleport wasnt random, perfect. Now it's garbage gg. Maybe with max attackspeed basic attackspeed and arclash + 0.8 cd roll and 1.2 on boots. Could be FUNNY that's it. You can teleport literally every 0.5-1 seconds then lol
I clear 71 dungeon level today with Oculus and Blizard ice shard build. I just remove the 50% radius aspect from Focus and put Ice Shard Pierce aspect. I Play non season
I heard there is a bug when you use the new oculus wand it uninstalls diablo4 and launches baldurs gate 3

LMAO yeah exactly this. Maybe if I had tried with a boots that had max evade charges in a small enclosed room it would have been possible.
the teleport rank goes to +15 when you upgrade it
Does teleport do OK damage at lvl 15?
@@s1rf0rt4h8 its insane damage... +15 ranks to teleport what the hell.. you can max it out to 20 if you want to. thats just ludacris
@@alphazero6571 scaling seems to stop at 20 which you can achieve with +3 amu + 4 boosts +15 wand already 22

I got it randomly and i got super lucky with the rolls with DMG% stat and 10 ranks teleport, oh boy....... this thing is insane to cheat death on 85+ nightmate dungeons combined wiith raiment of the infinite and throw Tibaults and you wreck everything and escape every cc because......infinite teleporting LOL
All they have to do is remove the word "Random" from the item and suddenly it's a fun item that can be built around, even without the offensive stat lines.
OP in pvp perhaps, unable to be caught.
I believe it can still be decent for pvp if built around. Pvp item more than pve.
These uniques will always be dead items if they keep making them without the most desirable stats for a given slot. A weapon with ZERO damage stats will NEVER be used in any endgame build. Worthless.

Just change it to random distance from location... Or drop an AoE ring on the ground, and tele to a random spot within it.
Just curious: where did your Oculus drop from ? Some random open world location or NM dung ?
I got 2 of them from running NM duns. They seem to have buffed the droprate of Uniques in NM dun this patch.

What rank is your teleport and what damage is it?
The Oculus I had in the video was min roll +5 , I had +4 from boots and base 1 teleport. So +10 teleport with just 1 point invested. The cooldown soft caps at around 4.5 seconds so it doesn't really get lower if you get higher if you put even more points into it.
Wasn't paying attention to the damage for it but it wasn't enough to do any significant damage.
how low do you think a teleport Cd (the normal one) goes with a +10 and max CD - if you get telport down to 1 - 2 seconds you would not need the dodge button anymore
27/5 teleport with 0 CDR is 6.6 SEC
Think will be great for pvp but not pve
that playstyle would make me want to kill myself. its well balanced in d2, the occulus is super strong but has the downside of sometimes teleporting anywhere. this one tho XDDD
The teleport is random and the stats are sooooo trash!! It’s mindblowing how they f… sorcerer. Sorcerer have the lowest dmg and get again a trash unique with bad stats. The only thing this wand misses to be perfect is resistance….
Straight trash like the rest of sorcs uniques minus chest piece its crazy....the occy in d2 was amazing.

Yeah unfortunately so. Most of the uniques in D4 have completely been F tier.
