I love the direction desurabbits has gone recently. I mean, I loved them before, but this year has been great
How have I been a babymetal fan all these years and desurabbits have evaded me for this long? This and all of their older stuff is fantastic and I'm kind of happy to be discovering it for the first time.
This is their New beginning! I have watched these Young ladies since they were around 6 - 8 yrs old... and watching them grow into this, is a true Honor... untainted and still pure DESSRABBITS!! =D I have loved these guys since the beginning... Baby Metal ARE Over commercialized, but these guys are down to earth and True to heart! =D
YEAH! I discovered them both only a year apart and thought "Death-Rabbits" was a Spoof or someone making fun of Babymetal, But... I was Wrong... these guys are Truly Spectacular and Have their own style and a wondrous musical innovation, "with Bucho" as their guardian, friend and someone that eats their milk pudding/yogurt at his Discretion! ;) They are a "Unit"... One Desurabbits!! =D
I discovered babymetal back in 2013 soon after I heard of Deathrabbits like a spun of Babymetal.Turns out, after all these years, Deathrabbits are a much appealing group than Babymetal. They made lives, they communicate with their fans. Even Bucho (the mask guy) said he loves babymetal.

I just came from a Babymetal video and someone recommended Desurabbits. Been a fan of Babymetal since 2012. Wish I had known about them sooner, I guess they recently disbanded 🙁. They are talented and have a great concept. Fun and to the point. Will probably binge their vids for some time. Glad I found this band, even if I am a little late to the party.

To think I started listening to 1 Japanese metal band, then went to 5 and then 10 and up to 16 with this one. Gotta love the music Japan is pumping out. Much better than most places imo. Thx youtube recommended. Keep them suggestion coming if they are that good.

Wow, they fell off my radar for a couple of year, now all of a sudden they're back with a vengeance.
Very good everyone, you're a band that really should get more attention.
They greatly toned down the Digital Hardcore elements that characterised their sound, releasing a few singles where they seemed to be experimenting, most likely aiming at a wider audience / commercial success. It seems they have found a formula that works. I prefer the "old" Deathrabbits but this song is quickly growing on me. And yes, totally agree: they deserve more recognition!
@@krisfaust909 I understand, but I'm not really a metal fan (don't hate it, just more of a heavy rock fan, ie. Band-Maid) ... I like BABYMETAL and this new version of DESURABBIT because of their more poppy elements ... I'd like to see less use of 'auto tune' effects since I know Emi has such a great voice, but it's what 'the kids' like these days so I'll have to make due with the parts where they let Emi be Emi.
Overall this is why I Love what the Japanese are doing, mixing styles and creating something new rather than retreating into genre-purity BS like they seem to be doing in the west.

While BABYMETAL is in decadence, DESURABBITS offer the best for my taste..

BM is back, tho. PA PA YA!! is great, Shanti shows off Su's improved vocal skill, and there's more. DESURABBITS are my #1, but BM is not going anywhere. It's a good time for kawaii metal / death pop. Even Ladybaby has made a huge and impressive comeback.

👍 Very beautiful looking MV! I love the new costumes. EMI, Yuzu, and Karin look amazing. They have all really grown in many ways. I like the song. I think everyone's performance was really good. But I will never like the sound of Auto-tune. Emi can sing great and definitely does not need to use that. Yuzu and Karin can sing well enough without it too. I'd much rather hear imperfect singing than hear the sound of Auto-tune. It's like the sound of scraping fingernails across a chalkboard to my ears whenever I hear that effect. Please stop using it. Also I think the Guitar and Bass should be much LOUDER in the mix like it was on the "Graduation Girl" song. Overall I think the song was well written and they did a great job making the MV. Very nicely done.

Epic catchy tune, so far better (for me) than Sotsugyou Shoujo. Still, not a huge fan of this new direction, specially compared to the first two albums which are super original and criminally underrated imo. I would have loved to see the old Pop-Digital Hardcore-Jazz-Funk combo being revisited now that they've grown up.
However I see why the newer material would be more appealing to a wider audience, and it has even begun to grow on me.
I agree with the person who said they'd prefer less effects on the voices. I also find the backing musicians a bit cringey but I guess they fit the J-rock vibe, they certainly wouldn't have fit the "Deathrabits" era which was more in line with the Hardcore performance. But again, I see the appeal.
As far as the rest of the video goes, well, it's gorgeous, specially Yuzu, Emi, and Karin, they look like angels. They've become such beautiful young ladies. I wish I would have been there all these years to witness their growth as artists and persons. But I'm glad I was at least able to do it from afar.
Anyway, what's more important is that they're having fun. They aren't just members of Desurabbits, they ARE Desurabbits. There's passion here, and they all have worked very hard to build and keep this live.
I said it before: In the end their happiness is what matters to me the most. I guess that's what it means to be an Idol fan. Yuzu, Emi, Karin, and Bucho stole my heart, and I will follow them as long as they want to keep going on.
I definitely want to see what will come next. Desurabbits, I wish you all much happines and success!

Por si te interesa saber más , te comparto la información que le dí a Mexican Curious:
El grupo fue creado en 2013 por el DJ de digital hardcore Akira Kansaki, de Akiradeath, quien encarna al enmascarado y cómico Bucho. Las chicas son Yuzu Okawa (18, 1:22, la más energética y mejor bailarina), Emi Mochizuki (17, 1:10 muy buena cantante), y Karin Yasui (18, 1:17, muy versátil y subestimada en mi opinión), todas ex miembros de un grupo idol más tradicional. A Desurabbits se les puede considerar parte del movimiento denominado "alt idol", iniciado por BiS en 2010.
Durante los primeros años el estilo del grupo incorporaba elementos de Pop y Digital Hardcore (no metal como parece ser la creencia popular), además de Jazz, y algunos riffs simples y slapping bass para acentuar el groove. Todo esto servido con una buena dosis de comedia. Sacaron dos excelentes albumes y un sencillo durante esa etapa, llamándose originalmente "Deathrabbits". Luego hubo un par de sencillos en los que parecen haber estado experimentando, con opiniones encontradas. Los últimos singles representan un cambio muy marcado, con un sonido J-rock mas accesible que ha sido muy bien recibido.
Cabe mencionar que antes, Bucho tenía un rol mas protagonista en DR, y usaba con mayor frecuencia un estilo vocal que en sí es una mezcla de varios elementos: growl, grito, freestyle rap, y básicamente cualquier expresión apropiada para enfatizar el tono que requiere, sea agesivo o cómico. A este estilo el lo llama "death voice" o "desu voice", de ahi el el término "death pop" acuñado por el grupo para denominar su sonido (es posible que el death voice halla llevado a algunos a creer que la música de DR era un mix de pop y death metal).
Personalmente prefiero el sonido de antes, sin embargo esta canción me gustó mucho, y me parece bien que la atención se centre en las chicas con Bucho en el fondo como DJ, y creo que este formato tiene todavía mucho que dar.
La verdad no se por que se les ha comparado siempre con Babymetal, los dos grupos son muy diferentes en su estilo musical, visual, presentación del producto, interacción con los fans, etc. (Y esto lo digo como fan de ambas bandas). Desurabbits son un grupo muy original y creativo, con una historia propia que merece contarse. Si quieres escuchar más de ellos trata con Sotsugyou Shoujo, para algo con el estilo actual; y para un Deathrabbits clásico recomiendo Koisuru Kisetsu, Desurabbits Gun no Nana Kajou, Kaiju Anpontan y Anger.
