This video should be shown in birth classes. Before I watched this video, every time we washed him, my baby used to cry so hard. My husband and I were so stressed out. Today using these techniques he had his first calm bath. Thanks so much!
This really worked for me and NO CRYING! Such a relief. My husband hated bath time for our baby girl cause she would scream and he thought her cry was unbearable. I tried this by myself tonight and she was as happy as could be. Can’t believe how well this worked, thank you so much!!! ♥️
This was sooooooooo helpful!! THANK YOU! 😭 I’m a FTM, currently 30 weeks pregnant and this is so detailed but yet so simple. The way you did bathtime was so calm and baby seemed to enjoy.! Please post more videos like this 🙂
First off congrats on your pregnancy! Such an exciting time. I'm so glad this video was helpful! I remember feeling anxious about baths for awhile with my daughter so I hope this provides you with some confidence when you do it with your little one. I'd be happy to create more videos like this, just let me know if there's anything specific your curious about. 🙂❤ all the best!
This was a super helpful video! I watched another one with a nurse giving a bath and the baby still cried. I’m amazed you did it with like no crying. Thanks for sharing!
Great vid! Just a tip, use a new cotton round for the other eye. It prevents bacteria going from one eye to the other. I know this vid is older but wanted to let new viewers know. Calvin is so chill. 😊
Yay so happy you did this! Thank you! He was super calm and cooperative. I like the idea of keeping a warm wet towel on top on them while bathing them. Makes sense to keep em nice and comfy. His grunting is too adorable.
The warm washcloth during bath time is a game changer! Never have a crying baby... may have a grunting baby 😉but never crying. Our nurse today during his 2 month appointment said it sounds like he's trying to push a heavy shopping cart 😂
Thank you so much for putting this video on youtube. My wife is due in 10 weeks with our first child, a boy!!!. It is all the little things you just do not know until you know . Thanks again,William
Gosh Taylor, he looks SO big already! He seems to have such a good temperament too! I love that bath PUJ thing! Really cool! Thanks for sharing and thanks Jeff for filming!
@@JynxsQuest my oldest is a girl and I can tell you that my bond with both is so different and I’ve heard the same from other boy mamas too 🥰 enjoy the sweet bond, mama
A lovely video which was so helpful to me. I had my first baby boy on 28th of May, 2020 during the lockdown in India. I am so thrilled to watch this video. I loved the safety brush which you used to wash and clean his hair. Your son is adorable. Thanks for sharing!
All the bathing videos I watch the moms always shampoo and pour water over the babies head while in the tub. I never did this. It made me nervous lol I would leave my baby in their diaper (in case they pee) and blanket. I would wash their hair first over the sink/tub. After I would take the diaper off then wash my babies body.
Too big a deal is made about a baby bath. I undressed mine, put them in the kitchen sink, washed everything including hair. Rinsed. Dried off. Dress them. Five minutes tops. I even used dish soap. Never had any problems
Sounds like how my mom was with me and the others she had. Made it quick and simple, no hassle and move on with the next thing. Todays generation makes a huge ordeal of things...
@MydNyteRayne Funny how some folks think being gentle, thoughtful, and intentional is making a huge ordeal. There is absolutely nothing wrong with trying to make bathtime enjoyable and relaxing. No one's judging yall for rushing and using dish soap.
This may sound like a confusing question, but is the bath sturdy or does the baby’s weight cause it to sink down? Asking because my sink is deep but not very wide :( so I really need something that keeps my baby up so she’s comfortable
I gently leaned him forward while supporting his neck with my dominate hand and used my other hand to rub his back. I leave the wash cloth on his stomach though when I lean him forward so he stays nice and warm
You can tell when they need a bath. With all the dirty diapers, spitting up and projectile vomit, they can get very sweaty, sticky, and stinky. Milk drips underneath the chin into the creases of the neck and starts to smell. You will know!
Vous appelez ça un bain Moi je vois un bébé enveloppe d'eponge allongé dans une baignoire et l'eau dans tout ça ? Juste sur les serviettes. C'est lamentable
Sorry you didn't get the info you wanted/needed. I didn't show those areas since I am not going to display my childs genitals on the internet. But for his back I gently lean him forward while supporting his neck with my dominate hand and use my other hand to rub his back. For his butt and genitals I use a fresh bamboo cloth to clean so I don't spread bacteria to other parts of his body... or you can save that part for last if you don't have two cloths handy. Hope this helps.
Taylor Lindsay Thank you for your answer and for the informations! It would've been more helpful if I could've seen how these things are done from A to Z, but I can watch another video and use your advices. Best regards!
Great idea keeping baby covered. Keeps him really calm.
He's soo happy with this bath guess boys love to have fun 🥰

Aw I’m so happy to hear that!! Hopefully it’s a more enjoyable experience for all 🥰
He’s so cold. That grunt he made when you pulled him out the bath. 🥰

I can't get over how cute he is! He didn't seem to mind having his bath one bit! Cutie pie for sure!
This was great, I tried the method and my baby loved it as he was warm the whole time.
I love that baby tub, I use it as a travel tub, it's great. Your son is beautiful! God bless.
Best bath tub ever! I recommend it to all the mamas I know 😆 thank you! 🥰

He is so precious. Just an adorable baby. 🥰
Thank you 🥰
The swaddle blanket hack is a great idea bc my little babies both slid around easily in the puj.
This video was super helpful I’ve been thinking about this for a few days now even though I’m only 5 months I still want to be prepared
I’m so glad!! Hope it helps you 🥰
It's good to know
Hospitals are suppose to show you. Hope your labor turned out good
This was so incredibly helpful. I'm still pregnant but simple things like baths have been giving me anxiety and this helped so much. Thank you ❤️

Omg his grunting is so cute 🥰 I'm 30 weeks with are first baby and the thought of bathing my baby gives me anxiety this helped a lot thank you.

He is getting so big 😭😭 such a sweet boy though 🙂
This video rocked!! I’m glade I wasn’t the only one who had to youtube how to clean a newborn baby lol 😂

I enjoyed the video very much the only thing I have to say is I agree with one other, that you use the eye swab twice
What a calm baby ! 🥰
Loved this video. I'm having my baby boy next Saturday. Very helpful for when its time to give him a bath.
Early congrats!! ☺️
@@TaylorLindsay thank you. (:
Oh my gosh thanks. My aunt just had a baby! I was just curious. She wants me to help babysit soon! 😊
Hope it helps! 🥰
This was super helpful. Thank you.
Thank you! My 4 week old is a grunter too
Sweet little guy awwww
My baby makes the same face your baby makes! I thought that meant she was mad at me haha 🤣
Question please..dont we need to cleqn hia back? Wont there be soap residue in the back.of the neck and all?
Great video! Now I think I’ll be able to handle bath time my first in a few weeks!
Great job! Lucky baby!
I agree... u did an amazing job. I will definitely do all the steps!!

Mines a grunted too! Can I do this if she still has her umbilical stump? Like with the warm washcloth over him?
I'm in new York planning to get a baby super helpful
Thanks! Very helpful!
Your baby is so beautiful I enjoyed your video
Thank you!
Im a first time mom om almost 3 months im gonna give this a try.
Your baby very cooperative and cute
How many times are you supposed to give your little one a bath?
So quiet and calm

What is your stance on circumcision?

In new York its hard for babies to sleep so I always bathe him and he sleeps with me
This may sound like a confusing question, but is the bath sturdy or does the baby’s weight cause it to sink down? Asking because my sink is deep but not very wide :( so I really need something that keeps my baby up so she’s comfortable
Pra que usa esse paninho na água? Serve para quê?
How did you get their back? My daughter is so fussy lol
I gently leaned him forward while supporting his neck with my dominate hand and used my other hand to rub his back. I leave the wash cloth on his stomach though when I lean him forward so he stays nice and warm
When can you give the first bathe and with what frequency do you continue bathing? Thanks!
You can tell when they need a bath. With all the dirty diapers, spitting up and projectile vomit, they can get very sweaty, sticky, and stinky. Milk drips underneath the chin into the creases of the neck and starts to smell. You will know!
I think 1-2 times a week is good
Watching this with my newborn in my arms about to give her her first bath! Thank you 😊
The baby is under arrest for being soooooooooo cuteeee❤️
Haha 😂
@@TaylorLindsay that was quick but u got a really cute baby may God bless u guys and the baby too❤️
I love your show
First time daddy. Thank u
Hope it helped. Congrats!
the eyes should only be cleaned with one stroke and change the side of the cotton pad.
Just bit worried cause the temperature of the water can change at anytime
Did this method with both my kids for the first 6 or so months of their life and never ever had an issue
Is baby oil better then lotion ?
For me it’s preference. I just really liked that particular oil. It’s super clean/natural ingredients too for baby’s fresh new skin 😄
Thank you!!!
Very cute 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
Awww
7 weeks?! How much did he weigh at birth? He's a big boy. How long is he?
He was 7 lbs and 19.5” long at birth 🙂 very average size baby ❤️
7 Weeks? He’s huge
😆 he's been in the 50th percentile since being born and I'm a more petite person so maybe it's the camera playing tricks. He's still a peanut 🙂
Leeyah Lamour how rude?
eman galal chubby babies are cuter anyways
@@emangalal3948 I don't think it's rude to say a baby is huge. It isn't exactly the same as calling an adult huge. Different context. 😉
He is so flibbing cute
Also what lotion are you putting on?
It's the honest company baby oil
Ela não lavou as costinhas dele ou se lavou não mostrou.
Thank you for this video! I'm only 4 months pregnant but this is my first so I'm worried about everything already 🤣😬
I just tie the car seat to the top of my car and go thru the no touch automatic car wash. Work smarter not harder!

But the bath was a little superficial??! Disappointed 😔 you didn’t show us how you did it on the back, gender area and bottom...

Are you kidding ? You expected her to show her child’s private areas? CREEP
RoNaMi A you are actually creeping me out. Your comments are very concerning and very inappropriate!
I agree that’s just disgusting that he even asked.
I'm so pleased you aren't bathing your baby in the kitchen sink like so many vloggers.
Why?
@Crystal Shay I agree this was a great video but you really didn’t have to mom shame others.
