    Extremely inventive low tech builds with incredible yields! Awesome work and great relaxing tunes to watch your craft to! :) With your 2nd method with rice husks and hanging bottles, I pondered if you could combine it, in the upper part of the bottle soil, with a top fruiting mushroom species like King Oyster grain spawn in the same bottles? Just for a laugh to see what happens. You'd need a different wick based watering system feeding down into the lower bottle soil to feed the plant though, without over watering the mushrooms on the top layer. Could be a fun experiment or just a disaster in the making! ;) Great video though. Thanks from UK :)

      Cucumbers and squash (zucchini is a type of squash) are in the same family. However, I think squash is, in general, a ground-covering vine rather than a climbing vine. If you can get them to climb and can support the fruit (it is heavier), you should be able to do so.
